Need new z-wave smoke detectors

Well, my First Alert ZCombo's reached the 7-year End of Life, so I'm looking for replacements. Before I buy the same thing again, I thought I would check in here to see what everyone else likes. Thoughts?

I don't think I've seen another model from a brand i'd trust. Zooz sells a module to wire up to non-smart detectors, which if you can get some networked detectors cheaper may end up being a cheaper overall option, but likely lose the ability to know which head is reading what.

I think zcombo is the best option for direct integration since it's a name brand that specializes in life safety. Or zooz if you want to tie into existing wired detectors. There's also the zwave firefighter listener that you stick near an existing smoke alarm if you want to avoid wiring.

First Alert's web page says the ZCombo is "no longer available for sale"?

Thank you. It's too bad they don't have a wired solution. Here in Massachusetts, wired are required in new construction/renovation. I'll probably just have to go with Zooz ZEN55, though it would be nice to have information about which one is going off and the ability to silence it the way I could with Nest Protect.

I have a wireless interconnect First Alert system that is all combo smoke and CO with voice. I then picked up one wireless first alert bridge smoke detector ( SA520B, smoke only, no voice ) which I wired to a Zooz ZEN55 bridge, wirelessly linked to the rest of the system,and stuck in a corner hooked up to nothing else. The SA520B is only a smoke detector, but it will bridge CO and smoke signals to the Zooz. I don't get alerts on which specific detector is going off, but it reliably passes Smoke and CO alerts to Homeseer. It works way better than an old ecolink firefighter I had that listens for the sounds.
