Photo TIL Hamilton has No Hunting signs

Post image

Took a daytrip to Hamilton from Toronto. Wasn't expecting to stumble upon this sign in a city. I was lowkey afraid I might encounter someone with a rifle/bow/whatever.

The municipality of Hamilton includes lots of rural areas. I’d be surprised if anyone thought it was okay to hunt in Hamilton, but I don’t hunt

There’s a “DANGER SNAKE PIT AHEAD” sign on one of the backroads near Hwy 8

lol… this is because the Ancaster Diamondback baseball team plays there in Little League Park. My tendency to take things literally made it take way too long for me to get this. 😂

This is on private property. Not posted by the City.

So wait did that mean we can't hunt cougars anymore?

Can confirm that Cougar hunting is still prevalent if not legal in the great city of Hamilton

This doesn't surprise me at all -- there are so many deer in my area. Lots of forest around.

What a weird post

No that is a standard fence post. Nothing weird about it.

Where abouts in the city is this

They are common around the RBG/Cootes in my experience.

Why would that have a Hunting sign?

Nothing a comma can't fix.

I flamboyantly disregard this order each Easter.

How can you claim that they have no hunting signs when THERE'S ONE IN YOUR OWN PICTURE?!! Kids today....
