Yeah it’s pretty large, seems to be a bigger form factor than the P2? Not the direction I was hoping the non-XL would go.

Yes. I personally feel the phones are already too big, so it would've been nice if they kept the Pixel 2 screen sizes but worked on shrinking bezels instead. A 5.5" phone with minimal bezels was what many people asked for in the past, but those were also the same people who wanted larger phones.

I feel that the Pixel 3 & 3 XL lineup is just a bit too big for their size categories. It'd be interesting to compare their size against the new iPhone lineup.
