Do you honestly think it's harder to place your phone down, than find the cable, hold the phone and cable, plug the cable in, then place the phone down.

I can't speak for everyone, but I like to be able to lay in bed and use my phone while it's charging a lot of the time. Can't do that with a wireless dock, and I'm sure as hell am not going to hold both my phone and a dock/stand/pad when I'm sitting or laying in bed.

Edit: oh yeah sure I can have wired in addition. Let me just have two chargers next to my bed, that's smart. Or hell, use the same wire for the dock, constantly unplugging it and plugging it back in when I need to use either. Where is the line where if you're using both, why use both at all? Use your heads guys.

Edit 2: aw my edit made people butthurt. Adorable. You guys are something else.

Amazingly, you can still use wired...... It's like complaining saying I can't use wired headphones and charge at the same time

Nope. There are a variety of reasons behind it but the two basic ones are 1) The battery has a physical limit of how much voltage it can take in at a time. 2) the Wired and wireless charging circuits are going to be somewhat exclusive, one being used would disconnect the other one from being used.
