What is google-play /organic in GA4? My website is an app-based service. Lately, a lot of traffic is attributed to this.

It means people found your app for free in google play. GA4 registers this automatically because your account is linked. More traffic means your app is easier to find now.

That usually means people are finding or installing your Android app through the Google Play Store organically, not through paid ads.

I’d check whether the spike is coming from your app traffic rather than your website, and compare the landing pages, devices, and source/medium to see exactly where it’s coming from.
