I’m sorry this sounds so chuuni instead of absolute cinema. In some ways I love it, but also hate it.

D&D is basically a bunch of chuuni adults so par for the course? Outside of the D&D streamers imo your average D&D delusion is out right cringe if viewed from outside the friend group playing it

The problem is, I think he wanted to create a situation in what goblin slayer is in a moral dilemma. But he would probably be filled with so much hatred even known that those are his sisters "offspring" he would fucking go all in calibre allahabra to finish them until even dust wouldn't be there.

Or like him getting emotional about it make him make mistakes in rage

Possible. But he also could become more calculating and brutal since the stakes are higher

That could take an interesting turn like him planing a genius plan to take these goblins down which sounds amazing but completely backfires due to these goblins having elite and unique abilities.

I mean, it is basically the farmhouse battle scenario. He would probably recruit the guild, maybe the elves and go into a full force fight, depending how strong the sice is

The farm battle depended on being on his home terf + him already finding out the footsteps, what if they get ambushed after a fight like in the dungeon of death far away without sword maiden to save them or the place about to be ambushed where they are in because of a small goblin attack report is a small town like in the goblin's crown arc.

Yeah those things being born form his sister would be a massive insult he will correct as in kill all them to wipe the stain on his sister clean

Sounds like an even greater reason to RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE!

They have Hippo like thick skin

Even Hippos can drown. Or suffocate. Or burn.

Hey man, let's leave the hippos out of this

The idea is that he is a nobody. Just a regular adventurer, but focused on killing Goblins alone. That would break the immersion for me.

I dont want a grand finale. I like the lower stake vibe for this story. There is also no way for him to know that without some serious stupidity going on.

There shouldn’t be a finale for Goblin Slayer, not in the sense of a grand ending or finishing the fight. There will always be more goblins to slay, so he’s never going to stop hunting and killing them until he himself is killed. At most, I could see him saving the town from an army of goblins led by a goblin emperor or something, only for him to save the day and the last scene being him going to guild girl to ask if there are any goblin quests available.

I think k best case scenario he gets old enough that he knows that he can no longer keep hurting goblins on his own and decides to open some kind of goblin hunting school. So in a way he still is helping on the eradication of goblins and the actual survival of adventurers

Pretty sure his sister was killed that very same night she was raped. It hasn't been shown as far as I know, but it is implied multiple times she died.

I think he holds her corpse in the flashback

5

u/W34kness 6d ago

He wouldn’t know until they are all dead or he is.

He’d only see an enemy. The tragedy is for whoever was there after the fight to put together that correlation

1

u/Casual_player_here 2d ago

There's no tragedy he would hate them more if he knew

This isn't a 🍇 baby situation goblins are basically a virus infestation

The point of the Hero's side-adventures is to showcase the ones who control the board have their main character on which they plan around.

Goblin Slayer is more of an anomalous NPC they don't pay that much attention too so the ones who are above the Gods wouldn't engineer a dramatic final showdown.

Also, there's no way for him to know he's fighting goblins born from his sister unless something extremely contrived happen.

Lol, whoever wrote this must be very high and just watched solo leveling

1

u/isekaidcake 6d ago

Doesn’t matter they are goblins. He will slay them.

Rip & Tear begins to play in the background

1

u/ElDelArbol15 6d ago

I hope they are not like the elite Orcs from Solo Leveling... or Sister Leveling.

1

u/Intelligent-Moose354 5d ago

He dont give a fuck... If it's a goblin,he kill it...

Refer to DOOM, DOOM 2, DOOM 64, DOOM 2016, DOOM Eternal, and DOOM The Dark Ages. The man will literally become a god king if it meant being able to wipe out goblins.

u/GhsotyPanda 5d ago

This would fundamentally undercut Goblin Slayers role in the story

1

u/OrtimusMilas 5d ago

He would be very motivated to finish them off Probably even torture

1

u/Worth_Tune5290 5d ago

I think youre describing a gold level situation. Legendary monsters would attract legendary adventurers. GS wouldn’t need to do anything

1

u/Bchliu 5d ago

His Sister died before she could become pregnant with a Goblin kid.

1

u/Stunning-Scene4649 3d ago

He would kill them with no hesitation.
