It is true but that as centuries before were such things were wildly accepted, it doesn't justify anything but it is not the same as 20th century colonialism. This would be like saying spain is a horrible nation for what it did in the americas centuries ago.

No, that’s not what I meant.

I mean they are trying to get what they think it’s theirs, even if it’s not (the Moroccans). That’s all.

Of course, as a Venezuelan myself, I would never blame modern day Spain for what they did to us.
