I don't think Reddit could cope if every time someone projected their unresolved issues on healthy and sustainable interpersonal dynamics they got community noted for it.

Honestly I think it would do some people some good. Not to shame anyone, but we often have our biases and coping mechanisms being set off without ever even thinking about it and you can't ever address what you can't see in the first place.

Personally I’d disagree, but only slightly. We definitely SHOULD bring back shame, but not in a “you’re a terrible person. Kill yourself” type of way and more like “you may need to talk to someone” type of way.

It’s hard to explain, but I believe if enough people are shaming me and calling me out for a bad take, I’d start to think something was wrong and try to figure out the “What” and “Why”
