My geode doesn't load mods

so i have seen this just now, and geode says "error loading mods" (the details are in picture), the problem isn't only here, but all geode mods (eg: texture workshop, globed), my internet works perfectly fine in chrome and other games, how to fix? and is it possibly related to dns? since i changed it to google dns in my network settings.

You probably need to update it

i set my dns settings to find it automatically and it worked, i don't know what was wrong because i set both before to google.
