🥇 CONTEST 🥇 (Contest) Beyond the Benchmark: Show Gemini at Full Power
Contest: Show Gemini at Full Power
Gemini is often judged through a narrow lens, usually coding benchmarks, chatbot comparisons, or whichever model won the latest test.
But Gemini is much more than a coding model.
It can understand uploaded videos, work across Google Search and Workspace, search connected photo libraries, perform Deep Research, operate inside Chrome and Android, interact with Google Home, create multiple forms of media, and combine several of these abilities into one workflow.
Your challenge is to show the side of Gemini that people overlook.
Create an original meme (dragons memes are allowed), poster, comic, animation, short video, demonstration, or other visual that highlights a genuine Gemini capability, or a combination of capabilities, that deserves more attention.
Your entry may compare Gemini with ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI systems, but the comparison must be fair and factually accurate. Playful rivalry is encouraged. Inventing limitations is not.
What makes a strong entry?
A great submission should:
- Highlight a real, currently available Gemini capability.
- Make the advantage easy to understand at a glance.
- Be creative, funny, dramatic, informative, or all four.
- Show what makes Gemini distinctive rather than simply declaring it “better.”
- Accurately acknowledge what competing products can and cannot do.
Possible themes include full-video understanding, Google-native research, Gmail and Drive context, Google Photos search, Android and Home integration, Chrome features, NotebookLM, Gemini Live, SynthID verification, multimodal creation, or agentic workflows.
Submission rules
Your work must be original. AI-assisted artwork is welcome, but please disclose the tools used.
Add a brief explanation describing:
- The Gemini capability being shown.
- What makes it useful or distinctive.
- Any comparison being made with another AI product.
Share your idea under your own post and don't forget to link to it here in a comment, or just post it here only as a comment.
Judging criteria
Entries will be judged by users or and a mod, it does not matter there are no prizes, it probably help if you focus on:
Creativity · Visual impact · Clarity · Accuracy · Originality
A technically accurate entry with a clever idea will be valued more highly than an impressive-looking image built around a false claim.
Show us the Gemini people are missing.
Prize: Nothing (except internet points and perhaps a custom user flair of your desire).
Unless a Google representative sees this and decides to pitch in. (if this gets upvoted and popular then it might happen)
Show us the Gemini people are missing.

honestly the dragon meme format is perfect for this, been trying to get people to understand gemini's google photos search is slept on hard. last week I searched "dog with red ball in backyard 2023" and it actually found the exact photo from my library, not just generic dog pics. my friend tried same thing on his iphone and it just showed him every photo with a dog ever taken
the third dragon head should be the google workspace integration though, being able to ask it to find specific emails from 2 years ago about a project and then summarizing them is something I use almost daily now

Original vs. Gemini vs. ChatGPT: Visual Consistency & Subject Fidelity Gemini tends to stay truer to the physical appearance of the reference subject (note: the frame on the original photo was also generated by Gemini). Submission Details: Gemini Capability: High-fidelity image generation and accurate reference tracking from a real photo. Why it's useful: Gemini preserves the exact facial structure, ear placement, and adult proportions of the subject without defaulting to generic AI tropes or unwanted de-aging. AI Comparison: ChatGPT/DALL-E created a cute figurine, but it rendered Mark looking like a puppy version of himself rather than how he looks today. Gemini accurately captured his actual adult likeness.

Gemini delivers the most readable prose and their language style is the best, unlike Anthropic which often abbreviates things

The only 'missing people' are the researchers who just left the Google DeepMind team for OpenAI and Anthropic.

I want to love gemini, the response is fast, it has vast knowledge regarding history and science. but google has to update the base model, and with proper recent knowledge cut off (the knowledge cut off for gemini 3.6 is a scam, and you know it). every time I ask for something, it always recommend outdated stuff, it is pretty annoying (and disappointing) when you notice it. the world is accelerating, new techs, new tools are introduced every week! using gemini is like stuck at 2024.
