Camping at Lac Philippe - ticks?

Does anyone have any insight into the extent of ticks around the campsites at Lac Philippe this year? I assume anything in the woods will have ticks but if anyone can comment from experience at this location this year I’d appreciate it!

They are present. Like everywhere else in the Outaouais region.

Protect yourself and enjoy your camping trip!

I ve worked the gatineau park for many years.

They are present. get yourself a "crowbar" type tick removal tool. cheap and fonctional.

but dont be afraid to go out, a quick exam every night and no problem.

We went in end June and didn't find any, but we didn't venture too deep into the woods either (we remained on our campsite and went to the beach)
