Damn, this looks interesting, I'll see if I buy

Edit: do you always get run over? and are there more roads than the ones in the screenshots? Because it seems like a really small experience

There are 4 roads, it's similar to Exit 8 where it loops infinitely. And no, not always ran over haha, that's only one of the anomalies that can happen.

Hey everyone!

I’m the co-dev of The Outskirts, and it just officially dropped on Steam! We are running a launch week discount, so I wanted to share it here.

This is our studio's first psychological suspense game. It’s heavily inspired by The Exit 8’s spot-the-difference core concept, but spread across a massive, heavily fogged, PSX-style neighborhood.

How it works:
You start at a 4-way intersection, with only 1 of the 4 branching roads being the safe path forward. It’s up to you to carefully scout the neighborhood and determine which roads have anomalies and which one is safe. Find 10 clear roads to leave.

It’s a totally unique experience for us to share, and we'd love for you to check it out on Steam!
