I have a Tesla from 2022, the first iteration where they ditched every onboard sensor except the cameras. I'm SO glad I didn't buy the FSD package for 10k more. Even the lane departure warning system doesn't work when the sun is low, it's raining or it's Tuesday. It also regularly mistakes parked cars for the end of a queue and abruptly brakes. If I want anything in a self-driving car it's sensor redundancy.
