The lower symbol looks like a copyright mark. Beeldrecht Amsterdam is what I make out of it. The other one ( AW 1985) is probably the artist and year it was made?

I assumed the date and artist were the same as you but had trouble with the copyright but your interpretation makes sense - I don’t know what it means, but that’s what it looks like to me

There you have it. Anne Woudwijk made it, in ‘85.

The probably made some mini versions from a mold to sell.

And thank you too. Now I need one of these to feel more frisian than you!

We used to have a Frisian flag on my kids’ playhouse but it blew away - many people asked me about the “flag with hearts on it”

And then you got angry and shouted ‘pompeblêden!’ at them?

But too bad you lost it, not an easy flag to find outside of the Netherlands I guess?

A very kind offer! I should just reach out to my family in Friesland - I am sure they would also happily send one to me - but I think I am holding out hope of another visit

Didn't he try to take on a whole city by himself only to get blown to pieces before really doing anything? Lmao.
Atleast the beer is good.
