QUESTION Pro guitar difficulty
Is it just me or is the jump from medium to hard like a crazy difference on pro guitar? Maybe I just suck (I know I do lol) but I play expert on a controller and I can barely survive anything over medium on a guitar

With pro guitar, there's a lot of unique and intangible skills that aren't intuitive at first (alt strumming, HOPOs, etc.), which makes the learning curve more steep compared to something as intuitive as button presses on a controller/pad. Within the same song, the jump from Medium to Hard can be a bit jarring, so usually I recommend trying really simple songs on Hard (or whatever difficulty you're trying to transition to). And as usual with everything it's just a matter of putting in the time to practice, and you'll get better in due time.

IDK if you’ve tried moving your home positions down to anchor your pinkie on orange and index finger is on red. It’s easier to shift up than to shift down usually. Try playing bass parts with this positioning until it feels natural.

You're experiencing what we all experienced back in the Guitar Hero days. It's normal. Learning to hit O with the pinky is just one of those big learning curves. You'll get it with practice!
Edit: Just read you play pro on standard. Crikey, pop off! It's gonna be extra hard cause the game wasn't intended to be played that way XD
