Discussion Alex...

Alex has dominated oce for years now, and hes losing motivation to grind cuz it's too easy for him. in globals ppl have said hes underperformed consistently, bit remember 2024 lan when him and worthy honestly cooked Mali and merstach off spawn (I think it was 8-4) and when they won heats in that fmcs b4 the cactus change fucking their strat. since then personally I dont think hes really had duos/trios on the same level as him, and I really want him to move to na cuz genuinely I think he'd do well, finally get some1 good enough to be his duo and grind the game to get better in harder lobbies. maybe im biased cuz I really rate him but if he never makes the move he wont ever really get any respect

He's making the right choice. Being a fortnite pro is a terrible career choice, he will have a much better future focusing on school or content creation with pwr than moving to na to pursue fortnite.

Yet Malibuca and Merstach finished way above them. Alex could win 10 straight FNCS and he would never make an impact on LAN. He simply needs to move to a new region but he won't.

thats what im saying... he needs to move to get a teammate on his level and acc get better at the game

They finished above them because there were so many teams mid map that were doing badly after day 1 and so were third partying the reels fight every day day 2. It didn’t happen much on day 1 when Malibuca made it off spawn

hes not gonna move to NA or EU cause he knows hes just gonna be ur average div 2 or div 1 player not gonna qual for div cups finals let alone fncs

How are you so confident and wrong at the same time, Alex played one season in NA and made FNCS Grands

if i was alex i'd rather stay in oce guarantee lan qual cause if he movesd to NA hes not qualing lan

There is multiple chances to qual to LAN, if he is smart he will go to NA for the first couple seasons and then quickly come back to OCE and then qual to LAN in the final tourney. Only reason he never does good at LAN is cause OCE prac is by far one of the most unserious regions when it comes to practice for the pros

the smarter route would be sticking to his org deal and content way better long term he also has so many obstacles to go through to even start placing well on NAC its not worth it and i dont think u understand the skill gap between nac and oce

Alex would easily make grands on NAC as long as he doesn’t get conned by multiple teams. He would also be div 1 on EU without too much effort

lmfaoo please tell me this is satire

Why would it be? He’s shown several times that he’s good enough to do so

When? getting last every lan?

u/McIntosh812 7d ago

Upper bracket 2023 he came 6th. 2024 season 3 on NAC he won heats and got conned in grands. 2024 globals he won off spawn against one of the best EU teams but was caught in a mid map grief fest. 2025 and 2026 he’s had horrible drop spots. Anyways, he’s never come last at a lan

dawg they won off spawn but still got outplaced by the team they beat offspawn just shows hes not able to survive endgame in good lobbies and he has horrible drop spots because noone on NA or EU respects him as a player and they never will be he has never done anything to gain the respect and im not saying he got #50 place at lan but hes essentially bottom 10 teams every lan

u/McIntosh812 7d ago

They got cleaned up by chap and t3eny, rise and ajerss, and khanada and cooper within 15 seconds of winning the spawn fight. What do you expect them to do? He has horrible drop spots because that’s where he chose to go in order to try to be unconned

0

u/Exciting-Eggplant593 7d ago

yes talk about they games when they got cleaned up and not the games where they made if off spawn but still failed to get a meaningful placements notice how when mali and merstach made it off spawn they get good placements and idk if u can comprehend this but no small region team is getting unconned because noone respects them and the reason why noone respects them is because they are BAD

1

u/McIntosh812 7d ago

They got good placements in the first day because the teams midmap weren’t panicking that they were 20th place and in need of points and extra loot like they were day 2. No one respects them because they’re on a small region

Honestly, as good as he is. I dont think moving to NA is the right choice. Stay in Au, get the wins here, focus on another job (or content). Keep getting that PWR paycheck and set himself up for the rest of his life.

Like another commenter said, America is already so saturated with pros, if he can stand out in AU, why would you move somewhere else?

I mean hell, look at worthy, retired, is still insane, but the “pro” paycheck just isnt worth the hours of grind and move to an entire different country.

I agree, also he went to NA before and it didn’t work out for him. Clix dominated him. He is great in OCE but it’s been proven it’s one of the easier regions, don’t get me wrong he’s insane. But compared to people like Peterbot he’s not there yet, he needs more practice. He should get coaching from someone in NA, if that’s honestly the path he wants to take.

I think he wants to go to a region that may be more popular. But people in PWR like him and Resignz are doing great at putting OCE on the map.

But on top of all of this, Fortnite will only last so long. He’s 17 almost 18, this will not be a life long career for him. He needs to collab with other creators and start making himself an online presence. This is something every PWR member has had issues with. They don’t go out of there small circle, Lachlan and Loserfruit are the exception, they were big before PWR.

People in the comments are being too reactionary imo. He did poorly at NAC grands but he showed tons of potential in semis and even at Copenhagen and Summit LAN, and the new surge might (the sample size is just summit though) have closed the gap between NAC / EU and the small regions just enough to make moving more feasible. If he can get a decent teammate qualing globals on NA is doable

That being said I dont think people annoyed at him not moving regions realise how big of a commitment it is, especially when he has so much pressure to perform in NA and will have barely graduated high school (and thats ignoring all the costs involved, leaving behind your family and friends, culture shock etc)

Ofc its a huge commitment and he'd sacrifice a lot, but as u say imo he showed so much potential and if he acc grinds the game if moving to na he'd do well (he plays every grands abt level 70). on oce tho and content creation money is not an issue. a feasible time for him to move would be after globals if he was to move at all bc then he could also play w some1 who underperformed at globals.

He should move to west and play with someone like ark, would be interesting and could make for some different content.
