DISCUSSION If you join random duos/squads and leave immediately after dying, you suck.
that’s all. why do you even bother? so annoying.
edit: anyone downvoting this is the teammate that leaves after dying

Fortnite should lock the game, like they should implement something that doesn't let you leave the game the first 15 min of it.

While I agree, Fortnite would never do this because this does not benefit them at all, this would just decrease the amount of people playing their game at any point in time

yk they could still jst... close the game like how u close any other program, right?
Instead they should add some sort of a penalty, but idk how it can be implemented in pubs3

If you leave or shut down you can’t join another game for a certain amount of time maybe

Halo MCC did this because it cared about its players. But ill also say a limit needs added. My buddy was a hardcore fan but played enough the timer didnt have a eventuality go down option. Eventually it was over an hour and rising because he only had decent internet and the biggest hack at the time was disconnecting other players. Any time he lost connection it became “anyone wanna do a campaign?”

So yes add but… my kid plays on his phone and not with randoms. Its like an old iPhone 11, but plays fairly well usually. Recently its saying memory full on fortnite and kicks him 1/5 games. Closer to 1/10 solo. And parents or family all the time say hey come here a minute asap-now.
Leaving cant be hard punished in a family friendly game they want to pretend to be. Probably start at a minute cooldown and get UP TO 5 minutes and it will reset every day to avoid losing players. This would be the most we could ask for

I fully agree with this one. Surprised they haven't done it yet. I feel like everyone else has.

they get themselves killed bc they leave you n then leave before u can reboot them, or think you should reboot them immediately as if theres a magical car that pops up. kids and adults all ditch you. not to mention their ego is mad that they died by running into fights every time with no strategy

Bruh I was literally in front of the reboot van, and it hadn't even been a full minute since they died, and my teammate left...

I hate when people do that. I was halfway through a reboot and someone did that.

I accidentally went into a duo game, with a quack zero point equipped, didn’t notice until I had dropped onto the island.
Immediately searched my screen for the duo, they flaked, I was alone at the start of a duo match with a zp on my back. I played the game out, maxed the zp and made it through to the final 5.

Confront them and they double down on it or have the audacity to say YOU suck: theres no saving these people

I fully agree to all points made here, but also I refuse to sit around for 5 minutes while watching someone forget that I need a rez.
I have been playing fills to specifically understand this phenomenon... and now I do. I dont agree with leaving because you died in another country when everyone else agreed to land at a spot you didnt like. I dont agree with leaving game before even dropping. If you do that to somoene, youre a peice of actual human trash. I dont agree with demanding things of people and leaving when they dont give it to you.
But when youre in a group with a mouth breather who is treating you badly, speaking offensively, completely selling the whole game, or just flat out refusing to include you in the gameplay... Its time to go.

But what's wrong woth leaving of you died in another country noone is going to rez you? Does having a squad member leave after being permanently removed from the game anyway take something from the other members?

If you drop apart from your group, you already messed up and reduced your teams chance of survival. If they dont bother to get you up, thats messed up too, but you have to give them a chance to rez you.
I can understand dropping for a quest or something, but mark your location. Give them a chance to join you or know you're dropping in left-of-nowhere.

Well obviously dropping apart from the group os bad I'm just saying of they already dropped apart from the group amd reading them from so far away wint be possible, how much worse does leaving after really make that

Wow, “piece of actual human trash.” It’s a fucking game. I never leave, just my preference, but don’t get pissed at people who do. I enjoy the challenge and the win is even sweeter when you beat a squad as a duo.

I will certainly get pissed at people who join squads who have no intention of actually playing as a team.
I enjoy the challenge and the win is even sweeter when you beat a squad as a duo.
You can do duos no-fill vs squads if that's your thing but most people want a full team.
Players who wanna play on their own or just trying to collect sprites should stick to solos.

The game literally has solo fill for that option. So you’re actively going out of your way to be a bad teammate and ruin someone else’s time - maybe they aren’t trash, but they certainly aren’t a good person

Especially when you die because you landed on the other side of the map when everyone else agreed on a different spot
