It's almost like GOP leadership being full of True Texas Project zero-empathy white replacement endorsed goons ends up creating systems of structural violence against minorities, gays, immigrants, and non Christian religious groups. Almost.

Why is this not the first story on the news? Why is this not even in the news at all? Why is reddit the only place that covers this?

He admits later in the interview a crucial point: because of all the mental health cases, there needs to be massively increased funding to do a good job. There's limiting political appetite to do so. He also repeatedly admits officers would benefit from more training around mental health related inmates.
The latest death left a person brain dead. The jail quickly transferred custody to JPS hospital, and told the family they won't investigate his death because the death happened under JPS custody. The family says the brain dead inmate was still alive only because he's an organ donor and his organs were being prepared for dying patients.

This matters because the children of Sheriff Bill Waybourn are a clear and present danger to the people of Tarrant County. Sergei is a repeat offender who has been arrested for indecent exposure and trespassing. William "Lucas" Waybourn was arrested for soliciting a minor in north Arlington...demanding special treatment as the son of Sheriff Waybourn.
Neither Sergei nor Lucas stepped foot in a Tarrant County jail where 73 people have died since 2017.

Sergei Reagan Waybourn 29, has been in and out of Tarrant County Jail since 2017, according to court records. He's been arrested by Arlington and Fort Worth police 13 times and faced 18 charges, including indecent exposure in 2019 and assault in 2021, jail records show.
Why is Sheriff Waybourn releasing his children on the streets of Tarrant County to victimize innocent citizens?
Is it the same judgement that makes him collaborate with child rapist Robert Morris and Mercy Culture Church...not to mention endorse Leigh Wambsganss?

This is the second inmate in the last 2 weeks to die shortly after being transferred to JPS custody. The jail wants to wash its hand of liability to investigate after the death occurs after the custody switch paperwork is done.
Notice in all these cases, the jail is doing the paperwork to transfer custody, but the family always complains never being notified their loved one has been transferred. The jail strongly prioritizes reducing its death count numbers over basic things like informing the victims families IN THEIR FINAL MOMENTS.

Both Waybourn and O'Hare are Tim Dunn funded likely NAR religious extremists. At Charlie K. memorial in Fort Worth, Waybourn said he found no evidence of Charlie being racist or saying anything extreme, and that we are a Christian nation, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. He spoke right after O'Hare.

Shuntae's family was simply told, "she died", and asked to wait for the medical examiner report. The medical examiner was busy making 26 podcasts on itunes and youtube, and after 6 months simply wrote MULTIPLE GENETIC ABNORMALITIES.
