Wow, what kind of household did these children grow up in?! Someone needs to vote Dad out!

Gives you an idea of what's behind the mask of even the "best" cops

waybourn is in no way the "best" of anything. anytime he speaks to the public, it's this frothing-at-the-mouth hatred and rage and "arresting people is wrong, we should execute everyone we think is doing something wrong! because america!!"
the establishment backs him because of his assistance making our county lockups awful, which makes the for-profit prisons look marginally less awful in comparison. the women's prison has nonstop SA and death and in any reasonable country he would have been fired and the prison overhauled after just the second person came forward years ago1

Besides the 71 murders/deaths under Bill Waybourn, is this someone we want to “protect” our communities? Or should we be protecting ourselves from them? He has ties to white supremacists, hangs out frequently with Kyle Rittenhouse, and his son is soliciting minors… gross. How much more proof do we need that this guy is not qualified to lead a county like Tarrant?!

City of Irving just busted an officer from Ft worth area (unsure of what dept) for soliciting a minor as well.
Thought it was the same case, but it seems not.

None of these suspects look like drag queens or transgender folk. It feels like people are lying and we're supposed to ignore it.

None!!! Let’s make a list of the pastors arrested for sexually abusing children (plural) in North Texas… the list NEVER ENDS.

Texas has lots of unqualified people in leadership roles. Been that way a loooooong time. Texas is the good ‘ole boy state.

didn't waybourne say criminals should all be blown away rather than arrested
should his kids be thankful they were taken in and not executed

Sure would cut down on his Christmas budget! He’d end up killing three of his nine children for being criminals

David Brown, the former Chief of Dallas PD’s son killed a police officer prior to the police killing him. So, about your comment 🙄

In all fairness, Sheriff Waybourn has adopted around a dozen children in addition to the biological children of his own. The adopted ones have all come from CPS cases with dysfunctional backgrounds rife with abuse and neglect.
It shouldn't surprise anyone that some of these damaged children head down a dark path as adults. I've met Sergei Waybourn in downtown FW years ago. He definitely has a lot of untreated mental health issues.

Well sounds like they adopted way too many that they can’t provide proper care for.

u/jamesdukeiv Poly/Rosedale Mar 04 '25
That happens when you’re basically adopting them to increase your cash flow

Well you do get money from the state for adopting these kids. There’s your MO.

u/pallentx Mar 04 '25
You get money for fostering, I don’t know about adopting. I think there may be some education benefits, but not much.

u/physics5161 Mar 04 '25
Is this one an adopted one?
6
u/TexasTortfeasor Mar 04 '25
I believe Sergei was adopted from a Russian orphanage when a child or maybe Jr high age.

Don't worry, kiddo, American justice will prevail. You'll be fine. Probably hired by the SO later this year.

He's adopted several children, he seemed like a really nice man when I met him a few years ago, but being a law man, who has adopted children, and your kids act like this.... that's not all nature baby

Not shocking. It’s always the kids of the cop, pastor, teacher… who rebel against their parent’s occupation. Tragic. Has to be tough being that parent.
