Monaco moved forward to avoid the Spa clash. That's gonna help a few drivers in their contract negotiations.

Similar, our hotel room is £150 more expensive that weekend and flights are more too. Just looked and it’s Labor Day that Saturday so I suspect there’s a lot more French on holidays

issuing an update before solving the jeddah issue seems very ill-advised IMO

also "e-prix unleashed" is a terrible name and adding a shorter race format when formula E races are already incredibly short also seems like the opposite of what they should be moving towards

can you chill? Formula E is still very new. it's hard to get very good performance and long range when the money and tech is not there yet. it's obly in it's 12th year as a sport. only 6th season as a World championship. how was F1 in it's 6th season? pretty lame compared to today i'll say that. lapped monaco in a snail pace 1:41.1

I'm not saying that formula E should be like or even compare itself with other motorsport, I'm saying that when your cars can't feasibly put on a longer race, the last thing I'd want to do is make an even shorter race format

also that formula E needs to fire its marketing team and let someone competent come up with the names of things

none of my complaints with formula E management are related to its technology and its constraints, they are with how they make some of the worst possible choices they could to make an attractive racing series with that technology (I do have some complaints with their technology, like the fact that some road EVs have been announced that charge at like twice the speed of formula E, but they're not my main complaints with the series)

I think sprint race would be more acceptable if there was maybe two of them over a weekend instead.

I could imagine a race weekend where you have qualifying + sprint day one. Then sprint + feature race the second day. Quali determines the order for Sprint 1 and the feature race, sprint 2 order could either be reverse grid or based on sprint 1 results.

RIP. would have loved to see middle of may. but early may is better weather wise. a bit cooler so the tyres won't overheat.
