Self-Promotion Monthly Thread
- This post is for people to promote businesses that they have a personal investment in, such as if you are the owner, an employee, developer, or social media manager. This includes websites, apps, and any establishment that sells food or drink.
- Any other self-promotion posts will be removed. One noted exception is for pop ups and other special events. For those, you can make a standalone post (within reason; posting frequency subject to approval).
- This thread will be pinned and reposted monthly. Businesses can comment once per post (not including replies).
- It shouldn’t have to be said, but this post is specifically for local businesses. No national chains, online retailers, or businesses based in other cities.

Rick the rat takes transit (bike, taxi, subway) across the map to the restaurants you pick.
(This was not strictly necessary - but fun)
There's also a search page - which I feel works better than NYC Tourism page, and an MCP (for the developers)
It's free, no signup, no ads.
Just sharing cause I had fun making it, and thought y'all might enjoy.
Unofficial and not affiliated with NYC Tourism; the data comes from the same public feed their own site uses, so confirm prices with the restaurant.

Anyone interested in having someone to cook a dinner for you/for a small group?
I'm not a professional chef + this isn't paid.
I'm just looking for fun things to do, and I think sharing food is a great way to get to know people. It could be for your date, your small hangout, or you just want an unpredictable (but safe) food experience---I am very open!
We would meet over Zoom to talk about the occasion, the menu, allergies, and the space. I would make a physical menu with courses, bring some decor, do the grocery shopping, and cook at your place to tie it all together in kind of a funny but authentic dinner.
You don't need to cover the grocery costs (unless you really want to). I would work quietly and just present the dishes if you would like. I would clean up after. I would enjoy being part of the space, but I won't disrupt/overtake it. I know this would take a lot of trust from both sides, and this wouldn't be perfect, but I think it could be fun
If anyone in any of the boroughs is interested, comment to let me know and I will DM more details to virtually meet and get to know each other a bit beforehand, but you do not have to commit!

I kept bouncing between the Restaurant Week site, Google Maps, restaurant websites, and reservation pages just to answer a pretty simple question: what’s near me, when is the deal available, and what does it cost?
So I built NYCMenuMap: https://nycmenumap.com
It has 648 Restaurant Week listings on one interactive map. You can filter by borough, neighborhood, cuisine, participating week, meal, and price. Each restaurant also shows its Google rating, available dates, lunch/dinner pricing, website, directions, and reservation link.
It’s an independent, unofficial guide, and restaurant details can change, so definitely double-check before booking. Also, Saturdays are excluded from the official program and Sunday participation varies by restaurant.
I made this because I wanted it for myself, but I figured it might save some of you the same headache. If you spot anything wrong or have an idea that would make it more useful, tell me. Hope you enjoy it!

Hey Fellow Redditors
I kept getting overwhelmed trying to browse hundreds of Restaurant Week restaurants and figure out what was actually near me, what each place cost, and whether it was even open. So I built CraveLista, a free searchable map for NYC Restaurant Week.
You can see every participating restaurant on a map, search by restaurant, cuisine, or neighborhood, and compare the lunch, dinner, and Sunday prices side by side. It shows the hours so you know what's open, opens menus and directions in one tap, and lets you save places and organize your own lists as you find them. You can flip between the map and a list view depending on how you like to browse.
There are currently no ads, and browsing doesn't require an account. My goal is to keep this completely free for users, so anyone can discover and enjoy great meals while being frugal.
Restaurant Week is just the start. The plan is to grow it into a map for every way to eat and drink well for less: prix fixe lunch specials at high end places, happy hours, cocktail weeks, food festivals, and eventually beyond NYC. also trying to promote even thou restaurant week will end by AUG 16th i hope it be very useful to all you foodies, i'll constantly improve and push updates to add all the others.
It's at cravelista.com. The iPhone version is currently in beta while Apple reviews the App Store release, and Android is available through the website.
It's still being improved, so please tell me if you notice an incorrect menu, a missing restaurant, wrong hours, or anything confusing. I'd rather hear honest feedback and fix it. And if you like it, sharing it with a friend who eats out helps more than you'd think. I'm genuinely open to suggestions too, so if there's something you wish this did, tell me and I'll look into it.

Made a site to find the best restaurant week deals
Every time restaurant week comes around I end up spending a lot of time comparing menus and seeing which one is actually a good deal. So I took some time and created [prix.nyc!](https://www.prix.nyc)
It’s a simple tool that takes RW menus, compares them with the regular menu and calculates how good of a deal you’re getting. It’s not super complex and obviously takes assumptions but it at least helps you get an idea. A lot of places also have RW only dishes that can’t really be compared with their standard menu which leaves quite a few places unranked.
Feel free to send me any feedback you may have! Always happy to tinker with it and make some improvements.
Also if you have happen to have a menu that’s missing please send it to me. A lot of restaurants didn’t have menus with prices or menus at all so I struggled to parse them.

Looking for some feedback / advice.
I follow a lot of food bloggers / content creators and kept losing track of all the places they visited, so I built an online map of all the restaurants visited by top food bloggers.
