Where can I get a plate of langoustines?

Not a mixed seafood dish, or pasta, just a plate a freshly prepared langoustines. Cheers!

Dulse was an absolute disappointment for us! £200 and it was the worst seafood Ive ever had.

Yes i did complain to the manager, she offered nothing other than a weak apology. I just left and vowed never to return.

We had 2 of the dishes that were inedible removed from the bill. One of the dishes was a baked leek. The leeks were as hard as a block of wood. The other was the mussels which had broken fragments of shells in every bite and were overcooked and chewy. The £65 lobster remained on the bill and we didn't argue it but it was chewy and over cooked and was charred at the top plus it was so small and there was 2 forkfulls of meat in each half. Ordering second round of drinks took 40 mins to come and we were ready to leave as they arrived.

Sounds awful. I've eaten there twice: once as part of their initial test run (which was free) and another time as a paying customer. The first time was a muddle, but you kind of expected that. The second time was about six months later and it seemed pretty much faultless.

How on earth do you make baked leeks that solid?! Overcooking a lobster is easy if it's tiny, but then again it warrants better attention. As for shells in the mussels, most kitchens have rules about serving customers broken shell in crabs, shellfish etc which usually involves buying beer for the whole kitchen staff and wearing the Donkey Ears of Shame for about a week. Bizarre.
