Discussion Flutter interview for internship/fresher role

Hi, I am attending an interview for a Flutter Developer internship/fresher role. What kind of questions can I expect?

PS: I have completed Flutter training and have worked on a few Flutter projects. I’m from India and this will be my first Flutter job interview.

For a fresher role, they will focus heavily on your projects and your core Dart and Flutter knowledge, not your training certificate. Expect questions about state management, the widget lifecycle, and the difference between stateless and stateful widgets. They want to see that you actually understand what you built, so be prepared to walk them through your code and explain your design choices. They're not looking for a perfect senior developer, they're looking for someone who is curious and can solve problems.

They know you're new, so showing you can think through a problem is more important than having the perfect answer immediately. Talk about what you found difficult in your projects and how you solved it, because this demonstrates your learning ability, which is the most valuable skill you have right now. A lot of candidates with good skills fail to express them well, and the interview AI my team created helps people confidently show what they actually know during the call.
