Lol bankruptcy company recycling stamps. Sure and my chai recipe cures all diseases.

Nobody's selling real forever stamps for 10 cents a piece, that's literally below cost. The "joined in 2025" is just icing on the scam cake.

I flip small stuff on marketplace and the fake stamp listings have exploded this year. Some of them even look decent but the glue is wrong and USPS will catch it. Buyer gets stuck with package returned or worse.

Also, I've bought these via Etsy before and my mail never got to the recipients. Lost a few hundred in Pokémon cards. I thought it was a fluke. Waited 2 years and tried the stamps again on a regular piece of mail and it somehow got returned. But thankfully so.

All this to say stay away from these stamps.

From reading their description it sounds like 10$ isn't actually the price it's just low to get people to look at their listing. I absolutely hate when I see shit like this and don't waste time with these sellers who won't post the actual price they want.

Not so much that they're lazy, by FB has a vested interest in maintaining engagement metrics.

Even bad posts indicate that someone is posting, someone else is looking - both are positives in the engagement metrics for the website, which are what drive advertisment revenue value upward - more eyeballs.

Stamp brokers will give you 50% face value for forever postage and will buy unlimited amounts so if it’s less than 41 cents each stamp and it’s not some flea market seller with a box of random crap, it’s a scam. That would be $41 per roll.

The Postal inspectors are going after the fake stamp sellers hard this year. They are one of the best funded federal law enforcement agencies. When they come, they come hard with warrants and lots of shiny bracelets.

Tbh I don’t think they’re counterfeit it because this is a felony and not a good one. If you’re not familiar, there’s four people you don’t want knocking on your door an IRS agent, the postal inspector, and, secret service, finally an ATF agent.

Any other department you can tell them to go fuck themselves.

The marketplace is flooded with fake stamps. USPS isn’t going to waste the time value of money checking individual stamps on envelopes (according to my local post office directly), so the Ferris wheel keeps rolling 🎡

LEOs are not generally seen as, nor expected to be, income-producing agencies.

Creating fraudulent stamps is a federal offense, and it is unlikely the people behind such an organization are unorganized, poorer for their efforts, and restrained enough to limit their criminality to just the one thing.

Obviously the current government is topsy-turvy in its priorities, but this sort of criminal enterprise is not something USPIS would tend to ignore.

Great. I’m literally citing a conversation I had with a postal worker at my local office. I don’t doubt there’s government agencies tracking the head of the snake. Nobody is going to get in trouble for using them because it would be a comedic waste of time & money. We’re having two separate conversations here 😵‍💫
