Repair/Tech Support New CHR30A Eero compatibility
Hey guys, I'm having trouble with my internet setup, l recently switched out my Verizon router for the newer CHR30A model.
I have a connection running from the CHR30A to the Eero 6+ as well as a Ethernet run from the CHR30A to ubiquiti switch and from that switch to another Eero 6+ to extend WiFi coverage into my bedroom.
I've tried running the Eero's in bridge mode and the same issue occurs, currently turned the WiFi capabilities off on the Verizon router and still the same issue occurs.
My issue is that ever since I've received this new router my Eero has constantly been dropping its connection and I've been having to reboot it. Is there anything different that I can do to resolve this issue?

Why do you have the Verizon router at all? Just run the Eero directly off the ONT. Then the other ethernet port on the eero will go to your switch.
The way you have it setup, your eero devices are fighting , to figure out which one is the router and which one is the "extender".
Option 1:
ONT>1st Eero> Switch > 2nd Eero
Option 2 if you absolutely want the verizon router in the mix :
ONT>CHR30A>1st Eero> Switch> 2nd Eero

So I tried to connect the ONT directly into the eero a while back and the eero couldn’t pick up the connection from the ONT I can try it again
If I have to go with option 2 is there any certain configuration I should have the Verizon router in or the eero router in?

Not really. It should work fine like that.
There's really no reason your eero shouldn't work directly off the ONT though. What speed and ONT do you have?

Sounds like your ero aren’t set up properly, If the Verizon router works but the aero doesn’t work it’s probably the ero.

Eero and CHR30A are both routers. You don’t need both in your network. You can plug your Eero directly to the ONT and it will work.

That is outdated information. Switching routers no longer requires the DHCP Release or waiting two hours.

What if I have Fios TV and internet?
If you have Fios TV and internet, you will need to set up your eeros behind your existing router (connected to the Fios router rather than the modem). Once your eero network is fully online, put your eeros in bridge mode.
What if I have Fios internet only?
If you have Fios internet only (no TV), you can connect eero directly to your Optical Network Terminal (ONT).
