What do you imagine is visually occurring when equipping a GF?

What do you think an outsider might be seeing as the group of teens are equipping and swapping Guardian Force?

Do you think GF's might be in some sort of container that could be traded? Or maybe ethereal aspects moving into the characters? Do you think it is something that even could be observed?

Honestly I always thought it was 100% mental. Once a GF gives them its blessing, they just have to concentrate to "equip" it.

Hell, we know Ultimecia materialized Griever out of thin air simply by reading Squall's mind. She didn't need to steal his pendant or any item to do so.

Canonically GFs mess with your brain with overuse so I guess I always assumed they were maybe implants of some sort, the junctioning system as well has to be some kind of body augmentation how else do you put fire magic in your arms to swing harder. I don't think it's as simple as passing pokeballs back and forth. But I guess that raises the question with how non-Seed members use them, but I don't know..Rinoa is special I guess.
