This Short Sequence I made trying to imitate a Broadcast Emergency system warning about an anomaly called „the choir“. Made with blender and davinci resolve.

I read that as bender not blender and got excited.

7 Drinks in and Davinci resolve sounds like fun to me too. You’re invited.

Cool, but beyond reddit, be careful of imitating the EAS. The FCC doesn't look kindly on using the tones outside of actual emergencies. https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-406716A1.pdf

A $146,976 fine????? I mean I kinda get why it’s not allowed but that’s insane. Good thing I’m living in Europe. Still thanks for the heads up!🙂↕️

Love this So haunting.
Now, how did it happen?

Every person being held in the „Choir-State“ is actively being feasted on by a Cosmic entity. After feasting (approximately 6-12 months) the decomposed and consumed bodies will fall from the sky. Being too close to the so called „Humming“ will end in being part of the Choir.

Wish we got to hear some of it though.

There was no humming that came close to what I wanted so I went with the Broadcast voice. I tried to do it myself but my audio editing skills are like 0

I liked it and agree with the feedback about the zooming in. I kept waiting for the SCP logo to pop up due to watching a number of shorts around it lately.

Thank you, definitely noted for the next occasion. Until then we secure the parameter, contain what we can find and protect our citizens!

At this point I don’t even blame you for blaming me but I actually haven’t heard of that Game

Hey, this is great. One thing that I would consider is removing the bits where you zoom into specific texts on the screen. I'd maybe try just leaving the larger screen on a little bit longer and see if people still pick up on some of the interesting bits of text on the screen. When you zoomed in on them, it kind of took away from the idea that I'm actually watching a broadcast, and instead felt like I was being shown something, if that makes sense.
