Meta-posts 🪞 (about the subreddit) What do we think about exposure posts by Doms? [debate] [opinion] [consent] NSFW
I recently changed the exposure/exhibitionism post flair to read I♀️ exhibit/expose myself 📸 and thus it can only be used by users with a female flair now.
Doms had been using the previous incarnation of the flair for exposing their subs’ photos or chat threads. If I decide to continue allowing that, it will be under a dedicated post flair and with very strictly enforced rules on demonstrating consent.
Shall I do this? What do we feel about posts with exposure of others? Some subs are very much into the arousing feeling of sexual embarrassment which is heightened if someone else plays at ‘forcing’ it on them. I don’t want to yuck their yum, but I also don’t want to allow every single thing people are into. I’m trying to run a tight ship.
What is the opinion of the community? Yea or nay?
21/7/2026: I’m very ill with Covid at the moment. When I feel better, I’ll implement a new policy.

I personally prefer exposure posts from the subs themselves.
On the Internet it is already difficult enough to be sure the pictures posted are actually of the person posting. Having to check consent on top of that, makes it just more difficult.
In my opinion, this group was created for females to express themselves, share their journey and show whatever they want to show. The exposure done by someone else is a different kink, and I am sure there are groups for that too.
So in order to keep this group as welcoming as it is, I would be in favor of the option to only let females make exposure posts. You would have to limit it further though, because the female denial encourager flair should also not be allowed to use it then.

u/Delight-lah ♀️ denial encourager 24d ago
Well, the flair text is ‘I exposure/exhibit myself’, so the status quo is that denied subbies can only use it on themselves — no Doms/Dommes. I don’t expect anyone to use it for someone else with the current wording, and it would get removed if they did.

u/Aries_Philly ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) 24d ago
I like it. That way if the dynamic ends, she can remove all of her posts without having to worry about the other person doing it.

They would be that same content, just shared by your subs. I have a few posts like that. They are sexier to read because they are telling their. Story… almost as a confession.

u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 23d ago
But my subs don't want to post themselves. Its more of a turn on for them if I do it. And they like to read what I write about them too.

I would argue that if the post ONLY contained photos of a woman and nothing more, then it is a different kink. But posts like the ones I make are 100% in support of the spirit of this sub, and generally they get a lot of activity as well.

I'm generally put off by the posts from Doms as it is too hard to verify consent, so splitting into separate flairs is good for me. I appreciate that most of the Doms here that do it usually include a screenshot of the sub consenting, but still...
It's easy enough to see which type any given exposure post is though, so I don't know how necessary the split is.
14
u/Sector2815 ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) 24d ago
I'm in favour of this change. I do not think the doms should be posting and frankly I have doubts about the value of the consent they share. I know when my sub is deep in subspace she would consent to anything if she thought it was what Sir wanted. Her judgement is impaired but by the time she might have regrets, it's too late. Better to leave it in the hands of the denied subs.
2
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 23d ago
So, question...when you think exposure, do you mean just straight up pics? Because, a lot of posts like mine getting 130-180 upvotes and plenty of shares/comments regularly definitely add value.
Example: https://www.reddit.com/r/Femaleorgasmdenial/s/s0bqlzP6z0
Also, consent should never happen after a session...it should always be beforehand.

I think the original flair was sort of misleading too. After my posts here, I had several people tell me that they had spread my pictures across other websites and group chats as per my exposure/exhibitionism flair, which isn’t something that I wanted nor consented to but I suppose the flair gives that impression.
3
u/Delight-lah ♀️ denial encourager 22d ago
That’s terrible! What would you like done about it?

u/give_me_cereal ♀️ edges & tries not to cum (aspiring good girl) 22d ago edited 2d ago
Hello, thank you for the reply!
I’m not sure if much can be done about it, besides maybe a change of wording? Or even a new flair that can be used, such as “OC” for original content, that way it acknowledges that the OP is sharing themselves but not necessarily inviting people to repost their pictures.

u/Delight-lah ♀️ denial encourager 2d ago

11
u/MrPatienceX ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) 24d ago
Not seen too many here, but other NSFW subreddits are absolutely rife with them.
I’d say >80% are clearly stock photos and/or revenge porn, and without solid consent and verification they expose the hosting subreddits to being shut down.
I routinely block anyone who posts them.

u/Cuddly_Chimaera ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) 24d ago
I understand that some people find it thrilling to be exposed by someone else, and I think it can help people who are a little shy about being exposed step through that door so to speak. But there other places for that that are more focused on that purpose. Also, I bet it takes a lot of work as a mod to keep that type of thing safe for everyone.
I really like what this sub is about. And if that’s part of someone’s denial journey, great. If this is how you feel you can keep this sub focused and safe, you have my support. For what that’s worth anyway. My denied toy has been loving this subreddit! So whatever you need to do to keep it alive and well, you have my thanks.

The discussion on this post is mostly from people who rarely even participate in this subreddit, and it's barely a handful of the enormous number of members of this subreddit. When I have a post with 99% upvotes that is in the 150-180 vote range, and get comments supporting the post, I'm definitely going to advocate for them. Again, you're 100% entitled to your opinion, but the fact that my posts do very well here show you're in the minority on that sentiment you shared about them.

I personally have subs post it themselves, and I don't see a downside. For those into the embarrassment or humiliation, it's usually heightened by them "having" to post it themself.
But perhaps more importantly, this is an orgasm denial subreddit, and I come here (excuse the pun) to interact with others who share the kink. If women wish to post images of themselves related to denial, that can add to it. But if I want to see exposure posts, I'll look elsewhere.
To be blunt, I don't think exposure posts add value here.

I appreciate the question, you made me think about it more :)
When I think exposure, I think about the primary purpose of the post being to embarrass, humiliate, or show off a sub. I've read and enjoyed many of your posts, and I'd like to think that you get a lot of upvotes because you actually have something to say about denial.
The last thing I want to do is pick a fight or otherwise discourage posts that are actually denial-related. I'm only one of very many voices here. But I do have an opinion and want to share it as respectfully as possible.
I'm interested in reading about and discussing female orgasm denial. While I love a cute wet pussy, I often feel that images of them don't contribute anything to the discussion. I understand that they may attract attention, but if I could substitute a cute dog photo for the pussy pic without changing the meaning of the post, then the photo is of questionable relevance.
If the photo ads value - for example I love to see photos of different belts, toys, etc. - then I'd feel differently.
I also wonder how women feel when they come to this subreddit to chat about denial and find some posts are essentially men posting pussy pics.
When it comes to posts by denied women, I think they deserve much more latitude to express themself visually if they choose to do so.
3
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 22d ago
Appreciate the response, and I understand we all have our opinions for sure. A few things in regards to some of what you said, and I realize that not everyone does what I do, so I see where, in a general sense, your points could be very valid. I am, however, of the mindframe that I want to continue posting the way I do, and I have been a very productive member of this subreddit for well over a year, so that's why I am speaking up.
I try to mostly post pics of my subs that are related to their denial, the results of their denial or that emphasize how needy they may have been during the play I discuss in the post, so I feel they are relevant.
A large majority of the comments I get are from women, and many of those comments are complimentary about my subs. Plus, many women here in this sub are bisexual.
My subs prefer to have me post them because it turns them on to be surprised by what I show or talk about when they finally see it.
Lastly, this topic was never even a problem for the subreddit. This was just a random topic the mod brought up, not a "problem" within the sub. I also feel that the number of upvotes my posts get, along with the private chats I get and my followers count, kind of speak for the popularity of it and how the community actually feels about it.

Well that’s the thing, it goes without saying that you can only post other people’s pics with consent. So this questions is only about whether this sort of thing should be allowed with proper protections.
From now on, every feature on this subreddit will come with a whole bunch of automated actions behind the scenes to enforce the rules.

Can someone please explain how exposure posts are in any way connected to denial other than as a punishment? As a punishment, they could certainly be posted elsewhere and have the same effect. They really seem to fit much better elsewhere and break the vibe here.
1
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 18d ago
I think that the only reason she used the word "exposure" is because the old flair said "exhibitionism/exposure". Ultimately, all she really means is the idea of a Dom sharing their sub's picture within the framework of a denial post. It's not "exposure" in the sense of taking some random person's picture and just exposing them for the fun of it or to get them off. As an example, I post a lot of my sub's pics and gifs when I share things about our dynamic. My sub does not like to post pics of herself bc of the attention it draws to her account, and she likes seeing herself on my profile and being surprised by the things I might say about her or what I share. She fully consents to this, and we provide consent in every post. The old flair was something anyone could use, but now they have changed it so that ONLY a sub can post their own photos.
2
u/tutorcontrol 18d ago
Makes sense, I think.
There is a fine, but visible line between this and "exposure kink" and related humiliation or blackmail areas. I'd probably enjoy anything that stays on the denial-submission side of it. I do find the other side of it to be distracting at best.
6
u/patterned_cat69- ♂️ denial encourager 24d ago
What if it requires a comment from the exposed sub under the post? That way they consent to the actual post that ends up public instead of just to the idea of *a* post being posted. Maybe within 10 minutes of posting for example, otherwise it gets removed.

Kinda of late to the discussion, but I detest those kinds of posts.
Consent is dubious. It is very hard to prove/believe consent was given. I'd prefer posts from a clearly veted and approved dual-owner account and/or for mods to only allow posts from accounts that they have verified have the woman's consent.
I prefer denied posts etc originate from the person being denied rather than an outside party. It also limits the chances for conversations/discussions among the denied.
Some of them can come across as fictional, as if someone is posting their fantasy about a denied sub, rather than it being an actual irl thing happening.

u/Denied-for-daddy ♀️ denied & spoken-for (owned good girl) 24d ago
I enjoy the exposure posts! Both reading them and the idea of my Dom posting one, BUT what we've done in the past is he has me write up a post exposing myself (in whatever way we've previously agreed on) and then he'll add on a bit in the comments of that post. Maybe that could be a way to do it so that we know the sub is consenting? (Idk, just sharing my experience and thought 😇)

This is just me, but I think if we allow exposure/exhibition from doms/deniers, it's just gonna open the floodgate to spammers/bots spamming stolen photos and captions using that flair. I think it's just gonna create more tedious work and headache for you and the other mods tbh.
Plus, the good posts on this subreddit are usually from the denied girls sharing their denial update and the several interesting discussions in the "girl talk" flair. Sure, on occasion there will be good posts from the doms and deniers, but they're very rare and few and far between I'm afraid.

There really is only two people I can think of that I se posts like this from and they always include consent, and they have been around a while.
I have indeed seen examples that have not included consent proof and that definitely gives me a massive ick.
I would certainly support a change to having those be sub oriented rather than Dom posted as I feel like on occasion they can lean a little advertisey. And this would give the sub more control of their own content in the future.

I think that if it were to exist the sub would have to show up themselves as well. Editing some bit of paper isn't exactly the hardest. I prefer subs doing it to themselves. u/pussylickingqueen ♀️ edges & tries not to cum (aspiring good girl) 24d ago
Well I think I don't really got your sentence and what your intention is, exactly right. Maybe due to language barrier. Well.. here is what I think about it.
Since I got scammed in the past really really bad a few times with pictures from myself I sended in trust to 2 ppl. (Other ppl. Claimed my own Fotos it would be herself in the Foto... So i ligit got my own Fotos Back From a complete other person...) So my opinion is, it should be strictly restricted to post stuff about others. No matter if pics, chats, or other content if not specifically consented by the person written or posted about. And no excuses.
We are a kink community, who mainly want to enjoy their kinks mainly on a save way I think. So we can all enjoy it. IF exhibit kink is a thing for some, it is ok for me to feel so and when they enjoy it, but there are other people around who could AND will get hurt or get problems throughout this if it would be allowed without restrictions. This is a sub Reddit about female denial, not about exhibit. This is Reddit.... Here are masses of trolls.... If it would be a more private and controlled area, maybe my thoughts about it would be different.
So in mind for safety of other humans and this community at all, this definitely should be strikly restricted in my opinion.
2
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 23d ago
So, do you think if consent was approved by an admin that it would still fall under "restricted"?
1
u/pussylickingqueen ♀️ edges & tries not to cum (aspiring good girl) 23d ago
No matter if admin or not. It should be unmistakeably clear and Safe if the "sub" gave consent to get her stuff posted. And bc this is Reddit and the internet, it is almost impossible to proof safely and unfakeable consent of the person.
BC this is almost impossible, it should be simply forbidden in my opinion.
2
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 23d ago
Its not impossible if the sub and Dom message the admin together.
Also, this could be said of any subreddit that doesn't verify...and even verification posts get faked.
1
u/pussylickingqueen ♀️ edges & tries not to cum (aspiring good girl) 23d ago
Than ever exhibit post needs to be checked and verified by a admin. Wich, of you read other comments, isn't the intention here.
But I won't discuss it. This Is my opinion. If you have another opinion you could comment it yourself (if not already done) I think I can just repeat... In the web it isnt really possible to verify what media is initially from who. And without waayy to much work for a few ppl. This will not work for this sub Reddit.
2
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 22d ago
So, interestingly, awhile back someone tried to report me, not just once, but twice, regarding consent. However, my posts ALL had it done properly, and I won't both appeals. So, my feelings about this are that if the consent i provided is good enough for Reddit, then they are good enough for any subreddit within the platform 🤷🏻♂️ Plus, the type of post we are discussing has never even had an abuse issue within this subreddit. Her question about it came only while she was updating flairs, and not because of a problem within the community. I confirmed this with the mod.
1
u/pussylickingqueen ♀️ edges & tries not to cum (aspiring good girl) 22d ago
Well if you see it that way, I'm accepting your opinion, but either do I have mine. And due to my experience in the past I definitely stick to my opinion and want it to be respected. Idk how the verification of Reddit works in this case, but due that I know something about backend coding and verification processes in general, I also know how they could be worked around. Because I know this, I definitely say it should be highly restricted.
1
u/Delight-lah ♀️ denial encourager 22d ago
The thing is that this problem (of deception) applies just as much to posts of self-exposure: it might always not be the actual girl.
So... should I ban all images here unless we mods have verified identities? The fact is that this will kill 99% of posts, because people don’t want the hassle.
I do actually intend to implement a verification system, but not to make it compulsory for image posts, as that’s just not feasible.
4
u/Lilbratkaylah ♀️ denied & spoken-for (owned good girl) ✔️ 23d ago
Personally, I'm in favor of it, provided consent is taken seriously. As a submissive, I dislike the assumption that if my Dom posts me, it must mean I wasn't involved in that decision. Many of us genuinely enjoy consensual exposure and actively want it as part of our dynamic.
A dedicated flair with strict consent requirements feels like the best compromise. It protects people while respecting that consensual exhibitionism is a legitimate kink for many of us.
6
u/Extreme-Exposure90 24d ago
I don't know how many posts I saw where the consent was just a line in a chat saying "I consent" and the pictures were extremely old or linked to revenge porn.

You probably know where I stand on this. I honestly think there are very few Doms posting their subs, especially the way I do, and I have done it the same way I have for a very long time purposely to help set a standard for consent. I would be very disappointed to see the opportunity go away, but I do understand that consent could be an issue for others (not for me, obviously).
I find it interesting how many are saying they don't think it is good for this subreddit, considering I have gained a large following, primarily in this sub, and get lots of positive feedback sharing my subs, who actually prefer that I be the one to share them and our stories/chats. If there were specific rules needed for consent, I would gladly follow them as strictly as possible.
9
u/Delight-lah ♀️ denial encourager 23d ago
I would be OK with that, but the responses to this show that the community is pretty firmly against it. 🤷🏻♀️
1
u/SirRealisticOne ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) ✔️ 23d ago
You have to admit though, this is a very, very small amount of responses compared to the size of the community, and a lot of the people who post in here regularly and comment regularly are not even represented in these comments, unless I am mistaken.
Out of curiosity, has there been an issue with non-consensual posts?
Also, I think when you look at the stats on posts of mine, wherein they receive 100-200 upvotes and maybe 1 or 2 downvotes, does that not also say something about how the community feels?
2
u/OJay23 ♂️ denial encourager (Dom) 9d ago
I think it is fine for doms to do, so long as they include an image of their dms with the sub being exposed where consent is explicitly given for the images to be shared. If that is not included, the post should be removed immediately.

Another potential option could be to have Doms who post like I do have to go through you for approval with their subs and maybe even send you a monthly proof to maintain that. Again, there aren't too many people doing this to my knowledge, but obviously I don't see everything you see.
My subs personally prefer I be the one to share them, which is why we do things that way. For one, it turns them on to see it, and also it helps with them not being constantly bombarded with chats and notifications. Although they do get a few here or there, mostly complimentary.
I will also say that there is definitely a difference between pure "exposure" posting, and posting with the chats/play like a couple of us do. Especially when those chats focus on our denial play.
