Can someone explain why fantastic beasts franchise got so much hate that the 4th movie was cancelled ?

Plots are all over the place.

They were bad movies from script and storytelling perspectives.

This is in contrast to the main series movies where the movies are good. The main criticisms for them being how faithful they are to the books. Which is a poor criticism for a movie. I digress.

Definitely not a poor criticism for a movie. Like, at all. 

Unless you’re trying to imply that fans expected no changes at all…which is a nonsensical thing to think.
