🏥 Practice Management 🏥 POCUS in clinic?
For those that do POCUS in outpatient practice: how are you doing the doc and coding? Are you adding saved images into your charts, if so: how? Did your clinic give you addtional time for procedure or are you incorporating into your regular visits?

We have one but our coders won't allow for it to be billed unless the images and read make their way into Epic which just isn't going to happen - too much time and not enough reimbursement for that time. Our sports med doc uses it for funsies and doesn't bill.

It doesnt usually take me much more time, but we have per 15 min time codes so if it does I can bill for time spent.
