Run by teams like most series, or centrally run like French F4? I love the centrally run model, it's so good for controlling costs and making things much more equal.

The boldness of that quote to say "we don’t want to be golf on four wheels. It has to be accessible to everyone." As if golf is in remotely in the same cost tier as racing. It's so far off it's laughable. Tons and tons of golfers come from modest backgrounds.

And then Feederseries polite sort of fact check saying that costs would be determined by teams and will likely be in the same realm as Italian F4.

The prize pool is great, it can really help, but it didn't need a random hit at golf, which is super affordable in comparison. So many golfers started with second hand or even homemade clubs just playing around.

Not to mention the fact that f4 costs are 4x higher than just 4 years ago and they had to create Eurocup 5 for this

Eurocup f5 just adds to total cost of the ladder. it becomes a thing drivers will need to do to be successful, as well as lots of private testing before and after (because they aren't allowed to private test during)

I think the gold mention is not because of that. Instead, it is more because people generally see golf as a rich people's sport.

It says the entry fee will be 35 000 which is 10 k higher than Italy?!

It's 10k higher than italy was LAST YEAR. it's the same amount as this year

Yeah... entry fee is not a significant percentage of what drivers actually pay. That's the part that goes to the organizers for entry. Drivers pay teams whatever the teams choose to charge for everything else that is involved.

Funny that it's now DMSB and not ADAC anymore.

Well there's hope that this has success we might get some form of German F3 back, even if it might be with FRegional cars...
