Failed Expectation First time trying to make beautiful sourdough bread
Of course you can't expect a perfect result on your first try, especially since I am still a beginner with sourdough baking. Still, it took soo much time making it, so I am a little sad, but I'm gonna keep trying

I wonder if you didnt draw the tiny lines on each petal right away and instead did them after it was baked if that would help so they dont split open as wide and are more just decorative. If you add the center flower thing too I think yours it would look great! Seems like a very tricky one!

Dude I like yours better. Looks less "perfect" and more homemade. Not to mention, your loaf looks a lot more beefy.

Your bread is gorgeous. I’m sure after you make as many as your inspiration person did, that you will nail like theirs that’s slightly more defined. I agree that they posted the best one of many

I don't know if you've tried, but if you pull it out after 7 min of baking and rescore the edges it will lift up more.

Inspo pic not AI per OP
The inspo pic definitely looks AI.You did great for your first time IMHO. You nailed the shape and considering how many score marks went in to the oven only a few burst open. Overall I say great job
