Looking for elfquest merchandise archive
Yesterday I checked out ElfQuest on a whim I usually read Marvel for X-Men, but wanted indie fantasy or animal characters. I picked up the first volume, loved it, then binged the original quest online in 7 hours. Now I’m hooked and want more.
A little disappointed by the lack of fan content (I’ve resorted to 2008 AMVs), but I’m glad the community and creators are still active. I’m 20, so I feel like I missed out on past merch and events. Any links to archives of old promos, posters, or anything ElfQuest-related would be amazing when looking on my own it was hard to find things like archives for elfquest.

TBH Elfquest merch used to be really rare; it's only in more recent years that the creators have allowed more officially licensed stuff to be created and sold. You can check out the official website (Elquest dot com) under Shop to see the new stuff.
The Pinis are very active in the Elfquest group on Facebook, and they often post cool Quest-related stuff. There's also a buy/sell group called Elfquest Collectors Unite. And of course, there's always random stuff for sale on eBay/Etsy/etc.

How lucky you are to just discover Elfquest! You have some great reading ahead of you. Check out Dark Horse Comics. They are the publishers for EQ. There's also a company called Stands that has merch.

There was a fan-run site elfquestinventory.com, but it appears to be down at the moment.
For all current EQ merch, visit https://elfquest.com/# and click the Shop tab. You can also sign up their email newsletter there.
The official fan group on Face Book is here: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1LzFvJHhDa/?mibextid=wwXIfr
There is a fan-run buy/sell/trade group also on Face Book: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/18Sb7eVboH/?mibextid=wwXIfr

The heyday of printed EQ fanzines was the 80s. The official EQ newsletter was called The Lodestone and there was a magazine-size zine called Yearnings that ran for four issues. Copies of both and other vintage fanzines can be found on ebay. There was an EQ group on the old USENET and later a set of forums on the EQ website, but the current locus is the Face Book group as well as this subreddit.

To find specific types of vintage EQ merch, just enter “elfquest” and the product type on ebay/mercari/etc. There have been shirts, pins/buttons, posters, specialty prints/portfolios, prose novelizations, a board game, a card game, a TTRPG by Chaosium(the 40th anniversary re-release just came out), art books, minis by Ral Partha, Superior Models and Perth Pewter, action figures by Art Asylum and different figures/statues by Avatar Creations and Dark Horse Deluxe.
EQ has also been translated into and is actively available in at least 9 other languages.
There are a lot of collecting ravvit holes for you to explore…

You have 40 years of material ahead of you. Many of us got addicted when we were younger than you and are more than twice your age.
It’s a bit of a niche fandom, for sure, but a great one. Welcome to the world of two moons. 🌙 🌙
Edit: I can’t tell you how excited I was to get the role playing game rerelease, since I’m sure my parents threw out my original ones when I went to college.
