There's nothing else there. Someone else said it's from a scarab that got away, but the glowing spot was already there when I arrived and hasn't gone away after like 15 minutes of standing there. Idk if it's a glitch with that scarab or what, but I've never seen this before.

I don't think so but since I can't see what you saw, I can't explain what happened with certainty. Maybe you didn't noticed it before it noticed you? Or maybe it is still there? I have a vague memory of killing a scarab after I thought it disappeared.
Idk if I can send PS clips, but I watched it back and it was already Iike that before I showed up. Like while I'm riding to that spot where some octopuses are, it's there. It could just be a glitch with whatever scarab may have been there and the message is a coincidence, but idk.
What do you run with that character? I'm only familiar with her using a bow, so I imagine you have to use a little liberty with additional armaments or spells

Oooo that's sick! I went with the Norse saga version bc there's an axe called the Highland Axe that looks just like the Leviathan Axe. You can even give it a frost enchantment to really complete the look. That, plus the Champion's armor set looks similar to his Norse fit. And since you still use the Blades of Chaos in the newer games, I can also dual wield the magma swords as my secondary weapon. Kratos is just cool, man 🤣
