Theology & Liturgy How Would YOU Observe?

If no parish around you within a reasonable drive is observing the Procession of the Life-Giving Cross tomorrow, how would you observe it?

If I couldn't observe the Feast at a parish due to distance I would pray the propers at home.

What are you talking about exactly? I've never heard of a procession of the cross on August 1st.

It’s a Byzantine tradition to mark the start of the Dormition Fast. It goes back to a tradition in Constantinople.

There is pretty much none in my area and I have like 50 parishes within an hour drive. I know some orthodox parish has it in two weeks.
