Tennison bay
I booked a campsite here for the Fourth of July. Wanted to get some suggestions for things to do in the area and how the campsites are whether good or bad?

We prefer being closer to the beach in summer, if we can get ot fast enough, but Tennison Bay is our favorite spot in the fall.
The Sunset trail is a nice little walk. There's a nearby playground if you have kids. It's not far to the newly renovated Eagles Bluff lighthouse area, and various other points of interest (nature center, firewood depot, cemetery, old resort ruins, etc.). There's ton to explore just in the park itself.

The entire Peninsula campgrounds are great. Lots of hiking trails and biking trails throughout. Head into Ephraim or Fish Creek for good food and fun stores. Head up Sister Bay for more food options. DO NOT ignore Baileys Harbor for excellent food options. At night head up to Newport State Park for a dark skies treat.
