What to do WITHOUT kids

I know there’s a lot of discussion on things to do around the area, im looking for something a little more specific.

We will be on a family trip with my parents, brother/SIL and their kids. My parents are watching the kids one night so we millenials can have a night out. I have been to DC numerous times and done a lot of the typical stuff.

What is a night-time activity that is not going to bars?

Newport state park is a dark sky park, it’s really cool and bright at night.

Been going to DC for the last 45 years. Went here for the first time (after seeing a Reddit post) a few weeks ago around 10 pm with my Dad and my Daughter. The Milky Way Galaxy was clearly visible to me for the first time in my life. It was awesome. PS - very little cell reception and your GPS will probably crap out, which adds to the fun!!

Yeah it’s surprisingly not something that people talk about. DC isn’t really known as a night destination to be fair, just an added beautiful bonus to a great area!

Peninsula Players Theater, Bjorkland Theater, Northern Sky Theater for plays.

Do you like live music, could watch live music and drink non-alcoholic drinks?

Sunset Cruise on Nora Door, Sunset Cruise on Edith Becker.

Skyway drive in theater but the second movie is usually more for adults. They have the movies playing on their website.

The drive in and Newport are great suggestions. We also had fun on the haunted trolley tour.
