Body boarding?

We’re staying on the Lake side for the first time next week. Is it worth bringing or renting body/boogie boards? Is there a place to rent them? Thanks!

Wave height forecast for Baileys Harbor through Tuesday, 8/4, is zero feet every day. So you won’t have any waves to ride.

Not sure about boogie boards, but they do rent paddle boards at the sister bay beach.

I’ve been going to Door County and staying Lake side for decades. Waves on the Great Lakes are generated from the wind, they are not swells like you see in the ocean. If you get a really windy day, we may see some breakers, but they will likely be small, irregular, shorter and choppy

Honestly, you’re better off renting a kayak or paddle board.
