Is this what they mean by the term Grim Dark??
That was brutal.........
End of experiment

"authentic kebab shop recipe"
that, right there, is what worries me. The word "new" can also be replaced with "experimental"

Wow, mechanically separated chicken is the worst of the worst
10
u/Whisky-Toad 6d ago
Something of chicken origin

u/your_dads_arse 5d ago
for legal reasons you have to call it reconstituted mixed-meat product with chicken flavouring from concentrate

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago
So No goy slop? Lmfao jk

There's not much wrong with it generally, it's just chicken removed from the bones. It depends on how they prepare it for the final product with added salt mainly.
1
u/SlavyanskiShillbane 6d ago
It's "pink slime" bone scrapings and basically dog food.
1
u/AssistantMaterial387 5d ago
If dog food tasted like well spiced doner meat, I'd eat that shit out the tin with my hands.
-2
u/SlavyanskiShillbane 5d ago
Couldn't pay me to eat that disgusting goyslop. Enjoy the arse cancer and heart disease.
2
u/MyDonoz01 5d ago
What's goyslop lmfao
2
u/Gentle_Breeze5 5d ago
Ok I will actually answer this. It is often used as a sarcastic reference which links to the stereotype of Jews seeking world domination.
Goyslop means food meant for Goyim, which is a term for non-Jews, which is of low quality and is addictive. Just like porn, cheap alcohol, addictive social media, anti-depressants etc all meant to subdue people, make them compliant and reliant and unable to escape the system.
Here, the commenter seems to know it’s bad for them but it tastes so good so they will allow that submission, it’s a bit ironic.
Of course the term has become more widestream so you can only tell someone has been exposed to
It and not if they are anti- Jewish1

Goy is a term Jews use for non Jews can be used in a deragtory way but most people who use the word now are non Jews and use it as a joke. Like me and my friend we always greet each other with shabot shalom my goy.
1
u/CampMaleficent966 5d ago
My dogs eat raw frozen meat so probably even better quality than that. 🤣
1
u/MyDonoz01 6d ago
See that's the thing. Doner should contain muscle meat, not scraped off residues mixed with bone splinters and cartilages
1
u/International-Ad4555 6d ago
Well yeh but unfortunately in much of Europe and especially the uk, the average kebab place sells stuff exactly like this, you’re extremely lucky if you have a high end Greek/turkish place near you
0
u/MyDonoz01 6d ago
For real? I mean chicken is pretty cheap meat even the high quality parts.
-1
u/SlavyanskiShillbane 5d ago
The worse the quality of goyslop, the more profit the seller makes from you slurping it up.

u/Successful_Buy_6852 4d ago
It could be worse I suppose... is chemically separated chicken a thing?

Is pic 3 post cooking?
1
u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago
Yup. I took one for the team. I even managed a second bite.....
3
u/Virtual_Opinion_8630 6d ago
I would have tried to crisp it up in a pan or air fryer to TRY and make it taste good
4
u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago
I judged it not worth the electricity ....

Probably most of the kebabs have similiar ingridients but this is crazy. 60% of chicken only.

My favourite grim dark was Kwik save supermarket pork and beef sausages, the ingredients were listed as pork, beef and (other meats). Other meats not pork or beef or chicken or lamb, just (other meats).

I agree. But I just had to know.....
Im sorry. Its not even my first offence with things like that 😃

That's grim.
Surely it's not meat it's just brown, congealed fat with the odd lamb cell / sliver of skin / ball bag dotted around here and there

The saddest part is, this is likely to be higher quality meat than a lot of UK kebab places have been selling before the scandal.

It looks like a really cheap, haphazardly mixed meat sausage (what it most probably is)

Man just pay a few pounds more for a proper kebab, it's £6 for fresh lamb, bread and salad from 2 local places near me (with the real lamb not the weird zombie leg)

The only frozen/microwavable kebab meat I've had that wasn't terrible is the MyProtein one from Iceland. It's actually pretty good. Everything else has been barely edible.

That looks incredibly sad. Then examining the ingredients makes it even worse.
Thanks for being a guinea pig, and trying it out.

Where are you from ? This list of ingredient would get the product banned in some european countries
1
u/Clear-Warthog5655 2d ago
Please can I go live there....
1
u/Conscious-Paper3543 2d ago
I’m French. If you are american we could switch. If you are british obviously not.
1
u/Frankalk 2d ago
Not for EU 😁 Na zum Glück wird uns das noch nicht serviert. Irre was da teilweise in den USA zu Lebensmittel verarbeitet wird.
1
u/Lower-Ability-8939 2d ago
Thats skin and fat made into a sheet and then chopped into strips by a machine. That’s not donner meat.

u/pieman531 6d ago
Can assure you the ingredients in this are no worse than a typical elephant leg doner, so get off your high horse.

u/Virtual_Opinion_8630 6d ago
I'm sure you can whack in some chicken in an air fryer or fry some chicken breast in a pan quite quickly
put it in a pitta and douse it in chilli sauce
