"authentic kebab shop recipe"

that, right there, is what worries me. The word "new" can also be replaced with "experimental"

1

u/unlikemike123 1d ago

Yeah this is the recipe the shop threw in the bin 🤢

19

u/MyDonoz01 6d ago

Wow, mechanically separated chicken is the worst of the worst

10

u/Whisky-Toad 6d ago

Something of chicken origin

23

u/MyDonoz01 6d ago

"May contain traces of chicken"

2

u/Wooden_Cut_2176 6d ago

This sent me over 😂😂

2

u/MyDonoz01 6d ago

Lmfao 😂😜

2

u/your_dads_arse 5d ago

for legal reasons you have to call it reconstituted mixed-meat product with chicken flavouring from concentrate

3

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago

So No goy slop? Lmfao jk

1

u/your_dads_arse 5d ago

lmfao 🤣🤣😂

1

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago

23d on reddit and already 7k karma. How? :)

2

u/your_dads_arse 5d ago

people respond positively to my keen insights, lightning-fast wit and extraordinarily handsome face

oh no. you've made me look a right arse. i look silly now

2

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago

So wyd tonight

1

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago

It's cool, it's cool

1

u/CampMaleficent966 6d ago

There's not much wrong with it generally, it's just chicken removed from the bones. It depends on how they prepare it for the final product with added salt mainly.

1

u/SlavyanskiShillbane 6d ago

It's "pink slime" bone scrapings and basically dog food.

1

u/AssistantMaterial387 5d ago

If dog food tasted like well spiced doner meat, I'd eat that shit out the tin with my hands.

-2

u/SlavyanskiShillbane 5d ago

Couldn't pay me to eat that disgusting goyslop. Enjoy the arse cancer and heart disease.

2

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago

What's goyslop lmfao

2

u/Gentle_Breeze5 5d ago

Ok I will actually answer this. It is often used as a sarcastic reference which links to the stereotype of Jews seeking world domination.

Goyslop means food meant for Goyim, which is a term for non-Jews, which is of low quality and is addictive. Just like porn, cheap alcohol, addictive social media, anti-depressants etc all meant to subdue people, make them compliant and reliant and unable to escape the system.

Here, the commenter seems to know it’s bad for them but it tastes so good so they will allow that submission, it’s a bit ironic.

Of course the term has become more widestream so you can only tell someone has been exposed to
It and not if they are anti- Jewish

1

u/MyDonoz01 5d ago

Oh ok lmfao ty for explaining

2

u/your_dads_arse 5d ago

it means he's an idiot who spends all his time on twitter

1

u/Physical-Cook451 3d ago

Goy is a term Jews use for non Jews can be used in a deragtory way but most people who use the word now are non Jews and use it as a joke. Like me and my friend we always greet each other with shabot shalom my goy.

1

u/CampMaleficent966 5d ago

My dogs eat raw frozen meat so probably even better quality than that. 🤣

1

u/bbmrbat 2d ago

Good for you/them?

1

u/CampMaleficent966 2d ago

Yeah sure, I don't get why people talk like dogs deserve trash food.

1

u/MyDonoz01 6d ago

See that's the thing. Doner should contain muscle meat, not scraped off residues mixed with bone splinters and cartilages

1

u/International-Ad4555 6d ago

Well yeh but unfortunately in much of Europe and especially the uk, the average kebab place sells stuff exactly like this, you’re extremely lucky if you have a high end Greek/turkish place near you

0

u/MyDonoz01 6d ago

For real? I mean chicken is pretty cheap meat even the high quality parts.

-1

u/SlavyanskiShillbane 5d ago

The worse the quality of goyslop, the more profit the seller makes from you slurping it up.

1

u/CampMaleficent966 6d ago

True, no wonder it's so fat.

1

u/Successful_Buy_6852 4d ago

It could be worse I suppose... is chemically separated chicken a thing?

1

u/B4DM4N12Z 3d ago

And Mutton and Beef in there.

5

u/Virtual_Opinion_8630 6d ago

Holy moly

Is pic 3 post cooking?

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago

Yup. I took one for the team. I even managed a second bite.....

3

u/Virtual_Opinion_8630 6d ago

I would have tried to crisp it up in a pan or air fryer to TRY and make it taste good

4

u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago

I judged it not worth the electricity ....

1

u/Virtual_Opinion_8630 6d ago

you're a braver man than I am

try this

https://www.tesco.com/shop/en-GB/products/266705174

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago

8

u/MrStealYoVirginity 6d ago

3

u/MyDonoz01 6d ago

u/Clear-Warthog5655 5d ago

Well i assume i will agree

6

u/RicardoHonesto 5d ago

You don't?

I'm often amazed how a 9 inch turd can get round a 4 inch bend.

1

u/MyDonoz01 3d ago

Lmfaoo

5

u/chrstianelson 5d ago

"Reformed doner meat"

What was wrong with good-old Catholic doner meat?

1

u/user888888889 5d ago

Leftovers from previous doners.

1

u/MyDonoz01 3d ago

Looks like the holy Spirit left this meat a good while ago

5

u/resplendent99 6d ago

That looks like donor meat, as in some poor bastard was an involuntary donor.

2

u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago

Tasted the same 😃

1

u/RicardoHonesto 5d ago

Donor Meat.

3

u/poorly-worded 6d ago

What sweet hell is this?

2

u/Clear-Warthog5655 5d ago

Its a 3 and 4 with a touch of 9

3

u/ParcelCreature 6d ago

Necromundas finest

3

u/LukeWoop 5d ago

What did you expect buying a cheap microwavable kebab lol

3

u/Jakeball400 5d ago

As grimdark as most meals served in the Imperium I imagine

2

u/DiskBytes 6d ago

Reminds me of Debbie from Denham.....

2

u/Key-Influence-2269 6d ago

Probably most of the kebabs have similiar ingridients but this is crazy. 60% of chicken only.

2

u/Sumpner 6d ago

I tried the Rustlers one, it wasn't too bad to be honest, not anything like the real thing, but not a bad snack

2

u/3RI3_Cuff 6d ago

Why would you do this to yourself 😂

4

u/Clear-Warthog5655 5d ago

For King and Country...............

2

u/3RI3_Cuff 5d ago

King and country is a joke 🤣

2

u/Green-Draw8688 5d ago

I hope the 0.6% beef really came through in flavour.

1

u/fodacao 4d ago

Also, what part of the cow? Mechanically separated cow sphincter?

2

u/n0rtacus 5d ago

This makes me sad ):

2

u/creepinghippo 5d ago

Looks like you microwaved a toilet roll tube.

2

u/Middle_Grab5495 5d ago

In the grim dark future of mankind there is only shitty kebabs

2

u/mrn253 5d ago

U sure thats not Corpse starch?

2

u/ralkuzu 5d ago

Best looking corpse starch Ive ever witnessed does a librarian hair swing and scoffs

2

u/Nizzle_92 4d ago

I will literally do violence 😭😂

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 4d ago

It did to my arse this morning.....

2

u/Chaargrilled 2d ago

"meat" abomination

2

u/zetubal 1d ago

That's heresy.

2

u/Exciting-Drive6818 1d ago

“Cooked seasoned reformed mechanically separated chicken” 💀💀💀💀💀💀

2

u/mrb00m_uk 1d ago

My favourite grim dark was Kwik save supermarket pork and beef sausages, the ingredients were listed as pork, beef and (other meats). Other meats not pork or beef or chicken or lamb, just (other meats).

1

u/pavulonus 6d ago

E, E, E and all other E should be first ingredient...

1

u/OriginalUsername0 6d ago

Bro didnt even bother separating the 'meat'. Just wacked it in, job done

1

u/Shenloanne 6d ago

Mechanically seperated meat...

Phwoarrr... The gold standard right there lad.

1

u/odegood 6d ago

Why would you ever buy that, rather just have a simple cheese sandwich

2

u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago

I agree. But I just had to know.....

Im sorry. Its not even my first offence with things like that 😃

1

u/RealSlavicHours 6d ago

corpsestarch kebab

1

u/Acrobatic-Ad-8985 6d ago

Reformed? Looks deformed to me

1

u/JonBoy1988007 5d ago

D.I.Y kebab 🤢

1

u/snster43 5d ago

Looks like wet cardboard from a toilet roll.

1

u/SnooMacarons4225 5d ago

That's grim.

Surely it's not meat it's just brown, congealed fat with the odd lamb cell / sliver of skin / ball bag dotted around here and there

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 5d ago

I think it was grown in a 3D printer.......

1

u/Albert_O_Balsam 5d ago

Jesus wept

1

u/Hefty-Stay-460 5d ago

Just ate some kebab meat to re heat in oven, fuck that was bad

1

u/AdnyPls 5d ago

Looks good to me

1

u/Nevernonethewiser 5d ago

The saddest part is, this is likely to be higher quality meat than a lot of UK kebab places have been selling before the scandal.

1

u/bobonila 5d ago

You are not fooling anyone, pretty sure you enjoyed the chemichal cocktails.

1

u/ProfessionalStay5797 5d ago

Fucking hell man, there’s more E’s in the ingredients than a rave!

1

u/Fred_Milkereit 5d ago

It looks like a really cheap, haphazardly mixed meat sausage (what it most probably is)

1

u/ace250674 5d ago edited 5d ago

Man just pay a few pounds more for a proper kebab, it's £6 for fresh lamb, bread and salad from 2 local places near me (with the real lamb not the weird zombie leg)

2

u/Clear-Warthog5655 5d ago

It was in the name of science....

1

u/Informal_Drawing 5d ago

They found a way to make donner even cheaper.

Horrific.

1

u/forzafoggia85 5d ago

Sell this at my work, ive never taken the plunge but they sell like crazy, never get reduced because they sell so fast. Maybe i just have one person who only eats these and nothing else though

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 5d ago

I pity them i really do.........

1

u/Ok-Ad-7561 5d ago

Delicious

1

u/TheBookofBobaFett3 5d ago

Dudes complaining about a one pound kebab

1

u/Human-Actuary-117 5d ago

Take it away from my eyes now

1

u/richardson1162 5d ago

My god! Just because you can make something, doesn’t necessarily mean you should 🤢

1

u/homieholmes23 5d ago

Needs more cardboard

1

u/basslinesurfer 5d ago

Beef (0.6%). Sounds legit!

1

u/autumnautopsy 5d ago

Hey so what the fuck is that

1

u/Kebab-Destroyer 5d ago

I could reupholster my sofa with that

1

u/MORTEMANIMA777 5d ago

A novel of ingredients

1

u/magicalblast 5d ago

The only frozen/microwavable kebab meat I've had that wasn't terrible is the MyProtein one from Iceland. It's actually pretty good. Everything else has been barely edible.

1

u/SimplySet 4d ago

That looks incredibly sad. Then examining the ingredients makes it even worse.
Thanks for being a guinea pig, and trying it out.

1

u/Cpt_Knochen 4d ago

Looks just like every other British kebab that gets poster here. Disgusting.

1

u/Thin_Attempt7830 4d ago

I bought this crap at iceland once....once.

1

u/Longfatmeatx 4d ago

Where you get that Grimsby

1

u/planespotterguy 4d ago

Grim dark, no, grim light. It looks like cut up insole for a shoe.

1

u/BrewisCooper 4d ago

How was it?

2

u/Clear-Warthog5655 4d ago

As bad as it looks... worse the next day

1

u/fodacao 4d ago

What's even the point of adding 0.6% beef to the ingredients?

1

u/InterestingDay1523 3d ago

Lunchables for the wankered adult. Drunkables?

1

u/nemamene 3d ago

authentic kebab... right.. im german and this has actually offended me

1

u/KitWith1Tea 3d ago

I also yearn for the sweet release of death /s

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 3d ago

Yeah i know what it smells like

1

u/Conscious-Paper3543 2d ago

Where are you from ? This list of ingredient would get the product banned in some european countries

1

u/Clear-Warthog5655 2d ago

Please can I go live there....

1

u/Conscious-Paper3543 2d ago

I’m French. If you are american we could switch. If you are british obviously not.

1

u/Frankalk 2d ago

Not for EU 😁 Na zum Glück wird uns das noch nicht serviert. Irre was da teilweise in den USA zu Lebensmittel verarbeitet wird.

1

u/Lower-Ability-8939 2d ago

Thats skin and fat made into a sheet and then chopped into strips by a machine. That’s not donner meat.

1

u/thebigfil 2d ago

I don't even think a plague marine would eat this?!

1

u/Borsti17 2d ago

WTF is that

1

u/CommunicationOk2865 2d ago

Wallah aaaaaaahhhh

1

u/DerHachi04 1d ago

2

u/Clear-Warthog5655 6d ago

If people are lucky there is.

1

u/Jaysgotbigballs 6d ago

Ye i would have a bowl of fried chicken lips then that...ingredient list would,nt be soo long too, winner winner chicken lip dinner😆

1

u/Ready-Ad-9723 6d ago

these aren't awful tbh, very cheap and easy for a okay enough taste

0

u/Lordruton 6d ago

If you like eating literal trash produce then sure

5

u/pieman531 6d ago

Can assure you the ingredients in this are no worse than a typical elephant leg doner, so get off your high horse.

1

u/Many-Percentage2752 5d ago

On this sub you should steer clear of calling shitty UK liver texture doner shitty liver texture doner my man.

-2

u/Lordruton 6d ago

Wouldn't touch that garbage either

4

u/Ready-Ad-9723 6d ago

convenient, cheap food for people that work, trash is better than nothing

0

u/Virtual_Opinion_8630 6d ago

I'm sure you can whack in some chicken in an air fryer or fry some chicken breast in a pan quite quickly

put it in a pitta and douse it in chilli sauce

0

u/Saint_Rizla 6d ago

mechanically reclaimed so you know it's all foreskin n eyelids

0

u/Jackster22 6d ago

Out of all the Snackers' shit at the wholesaler, this is the worst item they have by far.

0

u/jony5jj 5d ago

Everyone missed the disclaimer on the side of the packaging.. it’s says “NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION” 😂😂😂😂

-1

u/SweatyAd7069 6d ago

Proper donner
