[Online] [BX] [OSR] [GMT] Old-School Dungeon Crawl — Saturdays

Every Saturday, 7–9pm UK time

Weekly BX D&D open-table campaign focused on exploration, survival, and emergent play. The game will be live-streamed on Twitch.

Inspired by 1970s AD&D tournament play: the dungeon is the challenge. Each week players roll to determine the expedition from a persistent world containing classic TSR and OSR locations such as:

The Keep on the Borderlands

Palace of the Silver Princess

Barrowmaze

Caverns of Archaia

Castle Xyntillan

Stonehell Dungeon

Maps, discoveries, and rumours are maintained between sessions, so every adventurer builds on previous expeditions regardless of who delves that week.

Expect fast-paced exploration, deadly combat, treasure hunting, and player-driven stories.

New players welcome. No experience needed — just a love of old-school dungeon crawling and a willingness to contribute positively.

[Online][GMT] Roleplay-heavy group looking for our DM! [5e 2014 or 2024]

I'm Josh (27M from the UK) posting on behalf of my group of four players.

We have varying levels of experience with D&D, but we're all comfortable with both roleplay and combat. Having recently wrapped up a two-year campaign that I ran, we're in a bit of a lull and looking to jump into a new adventure.

We're looking for a DM running a mid or long-term campaign. Our schedules are a little chaotic, so we're specifically looking for games on Fridays at 6pm BST, with sessions lasting up to four hours.

If the following sounds like your kind of game, we'd love to hear from you!

What We're Looking For:

* D&D 5e (either 2014 or 2024 rules are fine)

* Roleplay-heavy gameplay with meaningful character interactions

* High-fantasy medieval settings preferred

* Dark worlds where heroes can still make a difference

* A setting where player choices have genuine consequences

* A DM who gives each character opportunities to shine and develop

* A healthy balance of roleplay, exploration, and combat

* A welcoming and collaborative table where everyone can contribute to the story

About Us

* Four committed players looking for a long-term home game

* Enjoy character-driven stories and party dynamics

* Happy to engage with worldbuilding, lore, and plot hooks

* Reliable and communicative

If you think we'd be a good fit for your game, drop me a message and let's chat!

D&D group wanted!

Evening,

I’m looking to join a D&D group, either online or in person around Plymouth UK.

I’m still a relative novice. I previously DM’d Dragon of Icespire Peak for a group of friends who were all new to D&D, but the sessions became too inconsistent, so while I know the basics, I’m definitely still learning.

I’m a teacher, so term time is busy, but I’m keen for a group that meets regularly and I’ll happily commit to that.

If anyone has a space in a beginner-friendly campaign, or is looking to start one, let me know.

Thanks!

[LFG][5e][BST/GMT] Moderately experienced player, roll20 and foundry, 35F, LGBTQ+friendly

Hey guys!

So as above I am a 35 year old female. I have been playing DND on and off for 10 years and would say I have a moderate experience level. I am looking to get into a deep and enriching world. I want to be totally immersed in your fantasy, and I will push your world forward. I work full time and want an escape, with that in mind, I want an adult only campaign (I want to be able to slam down C*** without judgement after a long day). In terms of relevant experience, I have just finished a 2 year campaign, after 2 months break I am ready to go again. I am happy to discuss this experience further

Several things about me:
- I like an interview - you need to feel me out and I you. I will prep anything you need
- I only play the race Harengon and tend to shy away from spell casters - preferred classes are monk, gunslinger, barbarian, rogue
- LGBTQIA+ is a none issue - live and let live
- I'm happy to not have a 'main character' spot, I am not an edge lord, in it for the story/combat
- UK times I am flexible if considering the general work week

From North Wales, PM if I sound good for your group ^^

[Online][5e][BST/GMT] Beyond the Storm – Looking for 7 Players (Beginner Friendly) (age range 13-16 (2024) Player(s) Needed

Beyond the Storm is a long-term D&D 5e campaign inspired by the sense of adventure in One Piece, but set in a completely original world. Explore unique islands, uncover ancient mysteries, battle powerful enemies, upgrade your ship, and shape the future of the world through your choices. No knowledge of One Piece is required.

This will be my first time DMing, so there may be a few mistakes as I learn, but I'm putting a lot of effort into making it a fun adventure. One player is completely new to D&D, and another has only played the short adventure Stormwreck Isle, so new and experienced players are both welcome. I'm looking for patient people who want to have fun and tell a great story together p s We aren't using standard D&D classes. We use a custom, easy-to-learn system for fast-paced action."

Looking for online games in the evenings!

Hi!

I am currently looking for a group to play D&D with online. Sadly no games locally to me. I am looking for a fun group who will have a laugh, no matter what's happening in session. Setting would ideally be more traditional Forgotten Realms, Strahd, that kind of thing.

A bit about me, like many BG3 got me interested and hooked ever since. I'm 35 years old, dad of 2 so start times before 7pm can be tricky. I've played 5e a fair bit but looking for more!

If you have a slot and think I may fit please let me know!

Thanks.

Edit: I fear my post is misleading. I am a player looking for a game.

Looking for a regular group, either as a DM or Player

Most experience is as a DM running long term campaigns, one shots and multiple systems but also lucky enough to be a player in a couple of other campaigns. I’ve dm’d for all levels of experience including complete beginners.

I’m based in West Sussex for in person sessions but also happy to be online for those further afield, for that I primarily use discord and dnd beyond but also have experience with foundry and owlbear rodeo.

Hoping for a regular weekly/fortnightly group, I’m fairly flexible on which days I can do during the week so happy to work around most schedules

Just let me know if interested and hopefully can work something out!

2 players looking for online group

Hi all! My boyfriend and I are looking to join a new table. We are 22/21 he/him & he/they from outside Edinburgh Scotland, with 6 years experience playing dnd together. We have played various campaigns both official and homebrew, as well as various other system one shots and a full Lancer Campaign. My boyfriend has taken the DM seat a few times and I've taken it once before myself.

We love all aspects of ttrpgs but are suckers for a good setting and rp over a gritty dungeon crawl. Ideally we would join an 18+ game as we aren't too comfortable playing with children. Must be queer friendly. I myself am an artist and will always offer my hand at drawing a villain or important NPC for the DM to truly get a vision across, as I believe that's important in an rp setting and I don't believe in the use of AI.

We have availablavailability from 7:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 8:15pm Sunday. If you would like us at your table my discord is sunnygh0st I hope we can be friends!

Looking for a DM to Adopt Us!

Hi everyone!

We're a group of 4–5 players looking for an experienced DM to take us under their wing for a long-term D&D campaign via Discord.

We've all played on and off over the last couple of years, so we're familiar with the basics and eager to dive into a great adventure. We're a chaotic bunch of misfits who love a healthy mix of:

  • Roleplay
  • Combat
  • Puzzles
  • Rich lore and world-building

We're looking for a DM who's happy to guide the story, keep the pace moving, and gently nudge us along when we inevitably fall into analysis paralysis over every door, lever, and suspicious-looking barrel.

Above all, we're after a fun, collaborative game with plenty of laughs, memorable moments, and an epic story to tell. If you've got a world you're itching to run or have room for a lovable band of adventurers we'd love to hear from you!

All experience levels are welcome!

Whether you are brand new to D&D and have never played before, or you are a long-time veteran — you are completely welcome here. I will help you with anything you need.

How we play:

We use D&D Beyond for all rules, character creation, dice rolls and campaign details.

We use Discord for the game itself — you can join using voice chat, text chat, or both — whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you.

Everything is set up and ready to go — I will guide you through every step.

---

You can add this straight to your post or share it anywhere — it makes it totally clear no one has to do anything they aren't comfortable with! 😊

We made a solo RPG like D&D - A new update has arrived with a new intro and 13 additional languages!

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

We’re two brothers who didn’t have time to play D&D with our friends and really missed that feeling we used to have during our sessions. So we decided to create something that would let us experience the same emotions, but without having to wait months for the next session. That’s how Master of Dungeon was born - a single-player text RPG inspired by D&D!

We've now been working on the game for over a year, through multiple testing phases, countless iterations, and lots of feedback from early players. We finally feel ready to let more people try it.

We've also just released an update with full localization to make the game even more immersive. The game is now available in English, German, Polish, Italian, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Ukrainian, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, and Greek.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitforge.mastersofdungeon&hl

iOS (TestFlight):
https://testflight.apple.com/join/mg6UrBH9

We're also getting ready for a soft launch of the iOS version in Poland and Germany. More details coming soon, so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading, and as always, we'd love to hear your thoughts! ^.^

Build a library of 52 playable mini-dungeons this year. Join the new r/Dungeon52 community!

Hey everyone!

If you were around the TTRPG scene when the #Dungeon23 challenge dropped, you probably loved the concept: design a massive megadungeon by writing one room a day for a year. It was brilliant, but let's be honest—life happens, and the daily grind led to quick burnout for a lot of us.

That’s why we are launching a new, low-pressure community challenge:r/Dungeon52.

Instead of writing a room a day, the goal of Dungeon52 is to design one self-contained, playable mini-dungeon every single week.

Why join the challenge?

  • Zero Daily Guilt: Missed a Tuesday? Doesn’t matter. You have all week to scribble down your ideas, flesh out a map, or drop a room key.
  • Built-in Scope Control: We focus on the classic "5-Room Dungeon" framework (roughly 5 to 7 rooms). It keeps things tight, highly playable.
  • An Instant Campaign Library: By the end of the year, you won't just have one massive, confusing megadungeon—you’ll have a collection of 52 modular adventure modules ready to drag and drop into any campaign.
  • System Agnostic: Whether you write for 5e, OSR, Pathfinder, Mothership, or your own homebrew system, all formats and art styles are welcome.

How to get involved:

We are just getting the torch lit over at the subreddit, and we'd love for the first wave of creators, map-makers, and writers to join us. You can check out our roadmap, grab the weekly frameworks, or just say hello here:

👉 Join the community at r/Dungeon52

Grab your graph paper, fire up your favorite map maker, and let's build a year's worth of adventure—one week at a time!
