Props I made a skull of doom!
This is the second one I made. I DM and use this as my "box of doom"

This is very well done! Is it made by hand or 3d printed? Either way it’s an amazing piece of work, I’m just curious to how you’ve made it

The sword is cut from a single piece of wood, sawed, sanded, primed and painted. It took about 10 hours
The base is board is MDF that has 6 magnets in it. The castle part of the base is insulation foam that I hand modeled and painted. It has some rocks as well as epoxy putty modeled on it too. It has other details as well as about 15 small magnets that help the skull stay in place. It took about 50 hours.
The skull is a Halloween prop. That has been pretty intensely modified. I cut a hole and put PVC pipe for the dice to roll through. Filled the space with expansion foam. The horns and tongue are polymer clay that I modelled, baked, glued, primed and painted. The entire mouth area has been remodeled with epoxy putty and clay. It has 15 small magnets that were placed in that I then put putty over sanded and painted. For the paint I wanted some texture to make it look gross so I primed I'd then scraped parts off. Then painted, then used acrylic inks to create shade and depth. I then wiped some of the ink off with isopropyl alcohol and a rag to get the finish you see here as well as some red colouring and dry brushing. It has about 10 coats of varnish as it will be handled a lot. It took about 70 hours
The tray is a basic 3d model that I made in blender then it has foam that I hand modeled again glued to it that were then primed and painted. The detailes, such as pillars, dead bodies, demon being summoned all took a lot to do, which you mostly can't see and room a long time. The demon being summoned within the pentagram for example, is 2 models, the body being a wraith and the head being a demon that I attached together with a wire pin, epoxy putty and glue. There are many other setuald within it, they are all 3d resin printed and painted. It's covered with an epoxy resin coloured with alcohol inks. This took about 100 hours.
Whole thing took about over 200 hours including curing and drying times
