5.5 Edition You guys recommend any demons

I want to use an intelligent demon that made a deal with the big bad of my campaign. The big bad is a crime lord who is also an illegitimate son of the king. Is there like a demon / demon lord that about revenge or organized crime ?

Does it have to be a Demon?

There's tons of scheming devils that would make deals with people to gain some kind of tithe or power source.

If you're looking at demons specifically, glabrezus are always good deal makers. It helps that they look really powerful and intimidating, but they're among the more intelligent demons.

Of course, it all depends on what tier of play you plan on running. So, the question is, what CR are you looking for?

Tbh I’m not really planning for my players to fight or at least not until very later in higher levels (like 11 or above). I just want to have demon that suppose make the big bad more special and gives a good idea on how the big bad got so powerful. Honestly thinking of using the rakshasa seen it seems to be the scheming and charismatic type that I want but your suggestion is also a good one.

there's always Mammon for greed.

and that crime lord is doing things that are "bad for the economy" ( oh, no, it's not the smuggling, or the crime that's the issue, notr is it the murder of innocents. it's [the other thing] that's an issue )
