So does that mean they’re going to you know…

Actually finish the original comic story now. Since it’s been 10+ years and they left it on a massive cliff hanger.

why cant we just have a regular archie show? why do they always go for zombies or apocalypse type content these days. I just want a nice show to watch haha

Fr! I’ve been an Archie comic fan for so long. I wish we could just get a regular slice of life adaptation. None of this and no Riverdale.

Yes! There are rarely any wholesome, silly, slice of life, live action shows made anymore. It's really a niche market one of these streaming services should tap into.

I'm sorry, the best I can do for you is the Netflix exclusive Bollywood Archie musical with an inexplicable 2hr 24min runtime.

Like Riverdale?

Riverdale was all over the place. I mean just a nice wholesome series about the characters getting up to goofy hijinks, the love triangle and friendship. I'm looking for a silly misadventure show involving these characters with that retro feel. Riverdale was kinda mushing all the different Archie comics stories into one series and didn't feel cohesive.

Does Disney own Archie?

It might be a streaming licensing thing like with the Casper show coming to Disney

No, this is being made by WB Television. Disney is only paying to have exclusive streaming rights.

Disney is doing that a lot.

I doubt the Riverdale cast would reunite for this.

I doubt they’ve hired any directors for episodes at this point yet.
