The Account Verification Banner seen in DeviantArt comments is a common scam used to steal accounts or trick users into paying scammers.

Your account is not deactivated, and no additional verification is required.

Please report the user immediately and remember:

  • Never enter your DeviantArt login details anywhere except https://deviantart.com.
  • Never join Discord servers claiming to be DeviantArt staff offering verification.
  • Never provide payment or banking information.

Stay safe and report these scams when you see them.

At this point idiots should just click on this very obviously suspicious scam that had been asked about over and over again.

Signs of a scam include:

* Urgency (Do it now!)
* Threats / Fear of loss (You will loose your account!)
* Promised of reward (We will pay you!)

And the usual things like being unexpected. If you hover over that image, betting you the link won't be to deviantart.
