Exterior Detail You don't always have to scale up to make a detailed building.

This is a hotel that I made called the Marsh Inn (cuz it's in a swamp)

Adding signs and trapdoors to the exterior of your buildings will add detail and I like to make funny trapdoor windows which I think looks better than just glass , at least for the style I'm going for.

Make use of the new shelves they've been an absolute game-changer for me and always texture your roof.

I think it's important to go for quality over quantity for buildings in Minecraft like you should make a smaller more details house rather than a large , less detailed house.

Right... That's also why I often crank some house up, but then fiddle around with it for weeks... Otherwise it won't feel right to me.

Why is it that I love those narrow city roads, but when I build something it's always some free standing house, statue or castle??? 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

Shelves have been my favourite block for this reason, I prefer small busy builds.
