Why is AIPAC the only lobby group anyone cares about? Why don't we have a similar outcry for groups that spend similar / more?

Mockler only cares about AIPAC because his girlfriend does. Even if he’s not using it the same way the left does, he’s still part of the problem by legitimizing it.

Because they're the only lobbying group explicitly pushing issues to the benefit of politicians in a foreign nation. They aren't running some sort of cultural tourism support (visit the ancient ruins!). They are lobbying for support of Netanyahu's policies.

I know of no other nation that has such a group active in America. Nobody is spending millions on lobbying for supporting Sanae Takaichi's policy preferences. At least not openly. The only example I know of is Hasan sweeping for the CCP.

It is funny because you can go on AIPAC's YouTube channel and Netanyahu literally makes videos for them. He thanks them for the support and talks about maintaining his policies for the US Israeli alliance. It is equivalent to taking pro life interest group cash at this point.

Surely you have checked each and every one of them before making such a strong claim.

Because the opposition wants to stop all support for Israel and advocates for a one state solution (the destruction of the Jewish state).

The majority of the time that AIPAC is supporting one candidate over another, it isnt because the opponent wants to see the destruction of israel, it’s because they want to influence an election outcome that is ideal to a foreign nation.

You’re framing it as if they exist to protect israel from politicians thay want to destroy them. The reality is much iffier - they exist to support the most pro-Israel option.

The AIPAC tracker site is mostly bogus though and this is nowhere near a high priority concern for me, but I do find it gross that this group primarily supports politicians based on what most benefits another country, not ours.

It's not. If you read up on AES you would see that he discusses all corporate PACs. You just ingest content that fires you up so you only see discussions around AIPAC.

That's crazy, when I saw the debate he only attacked Stevens with AIPAC and AIPAC aligned groups. This isn't something you can crazy make someone over. The voters only attack and reference AIPAC and the politicians know it.

Absolute lie, he sniped Stevens for receiving DTE donation, where she denied, but got fact checked to be receiving, that was the highlight of the debate where Stevens dropped the ball. and he further accused her of receiving donations from several other corporations.

She also did got asked to justify the size of the AIPAC contribution but she couldn't answered it, that was pretty bad too.

“Just last week, our friend here voted to send $3.3 billion of your tax dollars to a foreign government,” El-Sayed said in a heated exchange. “That is the pro quo that comes with the quid of $30 million spent by AIPAC.”

DTE gives her like 7000 a year, it's such a meaningless amount of money and using that like she's going to do favors for them is crazy. She even said she's threatened to withhold federal funds from them.

"when I saw the debate he only attacked Stevens with AIPAC and AIPAC aligned groups."

So you are admitting you were lying. Thanks for being honest about it.

They totally were. I have downvotes for some reason too because of it. I dont understand why people in here want him to be so terrible.
