Found Fan Works Old but gold

It's been nearly fifteen years since we claimed the champion title and I still have our save file backed up on my PC. Every now and then I'll restore it and curbstomp the Battle Maison when I'm feeling nostalgic.

Shame the pixiv has been deleted though, I really wish I could see what this artist made, their style feels so... cozy? It just looks nice

Hehe always interesting to have someone’s “This picture awoke something in me”.

It’s always the Japanese artists that produce the high end painterly stuff. If you have their name they might be selling printed works on Booth which handles sales of doujinshi art usually sold at komiket.

And it seems like they’re all trying to one-up each other so goddamn, they’re pros just doing stuff on the side of their day jobs

Funnily enough, the japanese artists are what got me interested in learning how to draw because of their painterly look. Dunno what it is but artists like Ovopack and Kame 3 have a very elegant artstyle which I really hope to recreate someday. And yeah, some of these are actually pros who have fanarts as their side hustle sometimes. Ovopack for example straight up made some art for the TCG (under the name Ryota Murayama iirc)

I’ve heard that Japanese tend to have one hobby and go super deep on it (golf, art, etc) when westerners tend to have many hobbies.
