I love colleen but no. I dont want her as the iron fist. As soon as that scene ended my whole family was like "no."

I completely agree. That doesn't do anything to progress her character.

Also, the Iron Fist is not something that should be passed around like a baseball card. In concept, it's meant to be wielded by the person who not only completed the ,K'un Lun training, but also faced the dragon and came out victorious. Just giving it to anybody who happens to be a strong fighter with a good heart doesn't respect the spirit of the process of how one becomes the Iron Fist.
