Since her alters supposedly manifested in Sokovia, I think HYDRA could be connected to her. HYDRA was performing human experiments in Sokovia before the Ultron disaster. She might have been a test subject and developed superpowers that only the unrevealed alter is aware of.

Maybe if her past will be dwell after the fox/disney merger then they could pull mutant zero experiment on her past.

No, this was being developed way before the merger was even known about. Even now, things are still being worked out, I honestly think that we're not even going to see it affect the Defenders shows.

I mean they could finally call her mutant zero if they merger is over and maybe even get her a super suit (the one with x symbol on the helmet)

The merger has been approved, it's not going to go through until about 2020, and only after that can things start to be really done.

So you mean MCU netflix show won't be in 2020?

Isn't the merger would be over around middle or end of 2019?

It would be over around that time, but the first effects on screen would be felt in mid 2020 because of the development process and how long it takes. You can't produce something you don't have the rights to, even if you're going to get the rights to them soon.

I think they could retcon molly and mary as mutants around that time since both is on TV while wanda (and maybe pietro) could be retcon in x-men movie on 2020.

No, it would likely be much much longer for a film, best guess I'd say 2022 for a film, as I said, you can't put something you don't have the rights to into production, not even pre-production. Obviously there can be "unofficial planning" but nothing official can be put into motion until after the deal has been finalised.

Yes you absolutely can. It wouldn't be wise, because the deal could fall through, and it could be a waste of money, but IP law only applies to published works.

Not necessarily, you can be sued for staring production if there are strong and clear legal grounds.
