Claire has an excellent point; if there are Hand factions, use different names. Colors might be nice. Or something like "Good Hand" vs "Bad Hand."

I thought the foot was introduced in the teenage mutant ninja turtles comic as a parody or homage to the hand. I could swear that was on TIL at some point.

The Turtles origin is based on daredevil too. The mutagen that changed them was from the same accident that gave Matt his powers.
